I feel like the Boarding groups are a great way to make access equal to all. The only thing I might tweak us how many times in a day one can re-ride ROTR 
even if it is meant to churn 1000+ people an hour through it, there will be thousands who want to ride it for years to come. Allowing you to only join a BG once in the park and then enjoying HS at your own pace over 2 hours can really help those with reasons to have a DAS for other rides.
When travelling with the other people in my family who need extra time, we do everything in 2 hour chunks.... space out FP+ we could do together, walk slowly, see parades, bathroom breaks, etc.
