He just turned 68 last month. He had a heart attack. There was nothing the paramedics could do for him. He had suffered from a heart attack last summer as well. Dad was spending the winter in Florida with his older brother and sister-in-law, drove down there in the motorhome he purchased after he retired.
My parents have an estranged relationship so he went to Florida by himself. My mom doesn't have a clue what to do next to bring him home. I think I might have to go down there with her to help. I don't think she can handle this on her own.
My thoughts are so scattered right now.
I'd had myself an estranged relationship with my parents, and haven't seen my dad in almost 5 years, just talked on the phone. He never met my 3 yr old son.
I had to tell my 8 yr old daughter this morning.
I feel so lost. I can't stop crying.
