Just wanted to let everyone know about my Cricut issues. My bug stopped working. It etches the paper, but will not cut. I can push on the blade housing and it cuts, so the blade is good.
I called Provo craft, and they were WONDERFUL!!! They are sending me a new machine...full new machine with George and everything. I have to send mine back within 3 weeks or they will charge my card, but that is just like the computer people did when my monitor died.
I wanted to let everyone know that they will be getting strict on having the receipt. The customer service people said that because there is a resale of bugs now, that they want to make sure that you are the original owner for warrantee purposes. She did ask if I had the receipt (no, it was a gift), and said it was OK they are letting it slide for now.
So, if you have one, make sure you do the warrantee, so that you can prove you are the original owner. And if you are a second owner, they will be charging soon...FYI...
Update... My new bug came today
I got the new model that has actual numbers for the setting on the dials. My old one just had gray, so I'm tickled!
Now to package up the old one and ship it off tomorrow.
