My computer is messing up

It keeps shutting down, so if I'm not here, you know why. If anyone is interested anyway.

According to DH it can be either the power supply or he says if the fan is going out that can also cause it to happen. But, without being able to look at it, he says it can be hard to tell.

My dd has an exbf that's a computer tech guy. He said the same thing. I may need to just shut it off for tonight. We'll see.

Can be a lot of things going on.

One is the computer is overheating (the fans being mentioned) However this normally causes a lockup. Not a shut down (unless it's the power supply)

The next thing would require more information.

What Operating System are you using?
What are your system specs?
What point does it shut down or is it intermittent?

Please give me some more information.
