My compliments to Delta reservation agents

Our flights had been changed to a later arrival by many hours and seeing as I had dinner reservations and other things planned I was finding it frustrating to switch our schedule around. I finally got brave enough to call Delta to see what they could do, if they could switch our flights back to an earlier one.

Well, the lady I talked to was absolutely lovely, helpful and was able to get the flight changed without a glitch. Now if things don't get switched around in the next week or so we should be all set. LOL

I'm looking forward to seeing how the flight goes what with all the negative comments I've heard. I'll post how it went when we return.

It is good to hear good things about Delta. I flew Delta in May of last year and had absolutely no problems. The flights did change a few times, but the flights were on time and were fine. I personally would have no problem flying Delta again.

I have to agree. While I've never flown with them before we currently have flights booked for our March trip. We've had them booked since last April. The times have changed twice however each time I called to get my seating assignments they were very lovely to deal with. :thumbsup2

Let's hope the flight goes smoothly! Being from Canada we've never flown with any American carriers before. :hippie:
 
Although I'll be avoiding Delta if possible due to the constant changes, once at the airport you should be fine. The flights themselves have always been very good :)
 

Did you get her name? This is just a suggestion, but - you may want to contact (e-mail, mail, call) Delta and compliment the reservationist officially. SOOOO many people only complain, it's nice to have GOOD stuff in your employee file, too. I don't know about Delta, but Disney and JetBlue take such correspondence into account when it comes time for raises and promotions.
 
Quick question concerning flights going off of this. I have never flown before but am going to for my trip in May. If the carrier were to change the flight time how they notify you??

I DID get her name actually! I think I will email them......will it be enough if I only have her first name? Nice to know some companies consider complimentary emails seriously!!


Delta actually did email me with the flight change and they now have my cell phone number in case the flight HOME changes. She said they would call and leave a message if they had our number.......I don't normally give out our cell number but figured this was a good reason to. LOL
