I got my watch!

My husband purchased it at the store, and had it delivered to the house! I LOVE it! For once, I have a watch that looks good on my bony wrist!

BTW, I was browsing the catalog in the store, and they have some that are arriving on August 1st, that cost in excess of $15k! They have a carry-on that was around $20k!!!!!

I just checked online and noticed more expensive bags as well. There's been a rumor on the purse forums that Coach is trying to go more high end and upscale to compete with LV, Chloe, etc. I hope they don't because Coach is a nice splurge for me and if they go $1000 or more than that will be the end of my Coach purchases. I have to draw the line somewhere--even for Coach!

I can't get a photo to turn out. If I don't use the flash, it's blurry. If I use a flash, the whole face of the watch turns into a bright rectangle. I'm not the best photographer.

I haven't worn a watch since I married my husband almost four years ago! I've been using my cell phone, or my computer to tell me what time it's been!

ETA: My birthday isn't until Saturday, but I had been having a really rough time at work, so he gave me the receipt (all they had was the display watch when he went), and told me it was coming (I got it a few days ago). Well, it's a good thing he gave it to me early, because I was going through my mail yesterday and there was a thank you card, addressed to me, telling me that they just knew I was going to love my new watch!

I've been wanting a LV for years now, but I can't bring myself to purchase one. Like you said, I have to draw the line somewhere, and my somewhere is really comfortable under $500 - and even those are rare purchases!

I love it, and not just because of where it came from (Did you know that all Coach watches are made by Movado, but Coach designed them, so Movado lets Coach carry their name on them?), but because it has both metals on it, and after taking out links (I put that poor girl through doing it three times before it was the right fit), it's the only watch I've ever tried on that fits my bony, tiny wrist.

I really like it. It's not too dressy, and not too casual.

I'm not wild about much of the new stuff for some reason. I think alot of it is just too big for me...and I'm not into outside pockets/lots of hardware.

Ours was just spreading the same line around the store. They had three tables with the same purse on it at different places. I'm thinking maybe I just went on a day before their shipment or something. Even their wallets were picked over, and they usually have a ton of those.
