So MI informs me of this, and then tells me. "Well it doesn't surprise me, because you know, China is the origin of all illnesses."

ME For once in my life I was speechless!!

Of course, we all know how HIV arose in those Chinese monkeys!

MI is our "Accounts Payable Specialist." And she is good friends with the boss.


Okay today's MI encounter.

Our cost accountant went to China for 2 weeks. (Visiting family) She was suppose to be back today, but didn't come in. She got sick while there and is taking today off to rest.

So MI informs me of this, and then tells me. "Well it doesn't surprise me, because you know, China is the origin of all illnesses."

ME For once in my life I was speechless!!

Did she inform the folks at New England Journal of Medicine about this, because I think they'd be interested!

Okay, I was laughing at the beginning, because "MI" is medical for heart attaack (myocardial infarction) and by the end I decided it was a great nickname, as she nearly gave me one!

We got to see a kooky lady today at the License Bureau. Someone had dropped a tissue or something with some plastic wrap on it. It was the size of a golf ball. The lady is staring and freaking because she has to stand next to this. She gets to the counter and told the lady that there is something on the floor. The bureau lady leans over the counter and the kooky lady is asking what is that, what is that??? The bureau lady says I don't know and sits back down. The whole time the kooky lady is freaking out that is next to her on the floor. DH and I were laughing and saying out loud that we can call HAZMAT to come and take care of the toxic tissue. This lady was almost having a honest to goodness meltdown that there was a tissue and plastic wrap 2 ft from her feet.

So you see all illnesses can't come from China. They were on the floor in a toxic tissue at the License Bureau in St. Charles, MO.

So you see all illnesses can't come from China. They were on the floor in a toxic tissue at the License Bureau in St. Charles, MO.

Not so fast. Can you prove that toxic tissue didn’t originate in China? No? I didn’t think so. Case closed.

Me We're planning on all 4 parks.

Miss Info WHAT!?!?!? You really aren't going to go to 4 theme parks. You certainly aren't going to ride any rides. Whatta ya' going to do just walk around?

Me No we'll get on rides. They have something called fast passes and yeah we'll walk around, wave at Mickey, just enjoy the time on the whole.

Miss Info Oh you paid for one of those pass things? We did that at Universal it wasn't worth it.

Me Fastpasses at Disney are free....

That's when I smiled and sat at my desk.

I pray she never, ever goes to Disney. Can you imagine her interacting with CMs, Characters, other travelers???

I've decided she's a "serial contrarian."
She disagrees just to be...disagreeable!

I thought earlier she was insisting that it was all ONE park, that MK, AK, etc, were just SECTIONS of the park! But now that you're trying to see four parks in three days, suddenly you were right back then and wrong now!

(and hey - we're planning on a quick trip in the fall and I hope we can make it to all four parks in three days as well! Thanks for the reassurance that I'm not nuts!)

Ask her if she saw the Shamu show when she was at Universal...
