My co-worker is a fountain of misinformation!! 5/14 the day has come page 130

I can't believe she's gonna crash the wedding. What a freak! Obviously she wasn't invited for some reason. But part of me can't wait to hear the details from her.

Ok subscribing to this thread , While I don't have work experience with someone like MissInformation , I do have a family member that is like her and she makes me wonder about her ability to make sane decisions !!! :rolleyes1 Some people are just Miss informed she is definitely MissInformation.

So I ask Miss Info what she's doing for the weekend. (not an unusual conversation for us on a Wednesday) and she tells me she's going to a wedding.

Me - Oh! Who's getting married?

Miss Info - Our old neighbor's daughter.

Me - That was nice of them to invite you.

Miss Info - Weeeellll... we weren't actuall invited since it's just a small wedding for family, but _______ (insert dh name) and I figure we are kind of like family so we're just going to show up for a little while.

Me -

Miss Info - What? It will be fine, they'll be happy to see us.

Me - Are you taking a gift?

Miss Info - Do you think I should? I mean, after all we really weren't invited.

At that point in time I was rendered speechless and just stared at her.

I can think of sooooo many reasons why they won't be happy to see her! :rotfl:

So she is going to crash a wedding and not bring a gift? For that offense she really should purchase the most expensive item they registered for. Wow, just...Wow!!! :scared1: :faint:

I hope there is someone standing at the entrance of the wedding reception asking for their name and invitation.

It's too bad you couldn't warn the "old neighbor"....

Can I smack her for you????? Please!!!!!!:rotfl2: That woman is just.......I can't even think of the words. I can't wait to hear about how happy the wedding family were to see her. :scared1: Especially without a gift!!!!

I can not wait to read what happened on Monday! :lmao:

Maybe you should suggest the Wedding Crashers DVD as a wedding gift? ;)

Yeah, but at least they were only crashing to get girls. What is MI supposing that she'll get out of going to a wedding to which she was not invited? Granted, she'll get talked about for years to come whenever the subject of the wedding comes up, but really, what does she hope to accomplish? Free drinks, dinner and dancing?

I bet the neighbors moved to get away from her! Unless of course they are her current elderly neighbors and she just refers to them as her old neighbors. Either way, I'd love to be a fly on the wall just to see the reaction when they saunter in, uninvited & giftless. I'm guessing "happy to see them" isn't going to quite describe it.

There aren't any emergency rooms in Canada, because of their health care system. If something goes wrong, you have to wait weeks to see a doctor no matter how sick you are. Her friends husband had a heart attack and she put him in the car and drove him across the border.

Yes. And I have Althaiphobia. A deadly fear of marshmallows.

I mean, please! I bet she's never even been to Canada. Hey, guess where my friend went where she broke her arm at school? The hospital. Where doctors were immediatley with her, examined her, and sent her home with a cast.

She didn't have to wait weeks. Or drive across the border. Oh, so if you're from Canada and pregnant, you'll give birth in New York or Michigan? Oh puh-lease! :sad2:

Has this lady been smoking any strange substances in the office, perhaps?

So after lunch, she tells me that she thought about it and went out and bought a gift. I naively asked her what she got...(are you sitting down??)

A 4 X 6 picture frame from the dollar store.

Now, if she was strapped for cash I would not say a WORD about buying something from the dollar store. But this is the woman who goes to Macy's every two/three months and spends hundreds of dollars on clothes for her 21 month old granddaughter. Never sale items.

Just when I think she can't surprise me anymore...

This keeps getting better! :rotfl2: :rotfl:
