My children go back to school....

Mine go back 25th August. She's ready. She misses school. So do I. I work in school cafeteria. I'm ready to go back too. I need routine !

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I feel bad for your children. Freshmen orientation isn't until August 26 up here, and we don't start school until Sept. 1st or 2nd. I can't imagine going in August.

Ours is the Monday after next and for the first time I'm THRILLED! It's been hard finding something to keep an 11yo occupied with all summer and his best friend just left town Saturday!Yikes!

Wow, it's amazing how early some places start. Here, they don't start until after Labor Day. But then, they don't get out until mid-June...

Mine go back on Aug 31st. It almost doesn't make any sense to me. They go to school Tues., Wed., and Thurs..........then are off Friday and Monday!! The district tried to say it is because Labor Day is late this year (9/6) and they would be starting later than ususal. Since they are starting earlier, wouldn't you think they would get finished sooner?? They still go til June 16th!

Mine go back on Monday. Actually, my kids are more excited than I am. My ds will get to see his buddies again (he's mostly had yucky girls to bug him this summer ). My dd is excited about matching clothes up with her friends ( ).

I get depressed when their back in school. Mine goes back on the 31st. It does seem like the summers just starting, I can't believe it's almost over.

Yikes.... Oh well I guess it helps my countdown timer move though.
