I love to play in the rain - as long as it isn't lightening, it can almost be more fun that swimming!

My kids love the rain too. I buy them a new pair of rain boots every year and let them go our whenever they want. Don't have to bathe them as often this way

I couldn't go to a swimming pool growing up, so playing in the rain was the next best thing. It's one of the great pleasures of being a kid (or a kid at heart)!

I have fond memories of playing outside in the rain. And, so do my children! Now, my favorite place to play in the rain is at EPCOT! haha

Oh, I used to love playing in the rain as a kid! Nothing better than standing by the curb, letting the little river of water go across your feet.

The last time I really played in the rain was in college. It was the day before graduation and we were packing up. (I lived with 4 other girls who were my bestest buddies and all of us were graduating). It started to pour and we just decided to go and play in the rain!

What a hoot!!!! That was my best memory of all!

Now when it rains, as long as there aren't lightning and thunder, I throw the kids out and tell them to have a blast!

I am so glad to hear someone else did that! Of course, I used to sit in the water -- drove my poor mother to distraction. "You don't know what sort of stuff has been sitting or running down that curb, young man!"

Playing in the rain brings back fond childhood memories. Several years ago DH and I were at Magic Kingdom in December and it started to rain,just about everyone left but us. I put on a mickey poncho(DH refushed) and we had a blast, almost had the whole park to ourselves. Susan
