Ok. (I misspelled me, I'm such a dork)

So far I have

Made Dining Reservations
Making matching shirts for 7 days
Printed out mousekeeping envelopes
ordered Princess dresses
Booked Flight
got disney fruit snacks
rented a car
got a fridge through fridge swap

what else?

Are you traveling with kids? Do you need stroller swap? What about a photopass share? Have you arranged to have your mail stopped or otherwise taken care of? Pets too! Hmmm...that is all i have off the top of my head right now. This is a good idea for a post!

What I like to do and start writing down all the things you use during the day, toiletries, etc. Things you couldn't live without and make a packing list with those items. Then write down what clothes you want to take, plan for changing weather and whittle the list down to the bare minimum. I find it's easier to do a few loads of laundry than hauling a whole bunch of suitcases. Print out a blank calendar, write in all your ADR's, confirmation numbers, hotel reservation number, flight numbers, car service numbers etc. Then you have it all in one place. For our last few trips I have sent a box down to the hotel filled with stuff, ended up being cheaper sending it UPS rather than paying for baggage with the airline. But remember try not to overthink it, it's vacation and supposed to be fun. Have a great trip.

Ditto about the calendar with ADR info on it!! :thumbsup2 I also color code mine to list each park's hours (in case we change our minds and want to go somewhere other than what was initially planned) and the big events (like fantasmic or spectro) that are going on each day.

I totally forgot about my mail! I can't get onto any stroller swaps, so I guess I'll just bring one on the plane. Oh, I made my autograph book also and got pens. Make up and glitter because I can't do BBB for 3 girls, thats like breakfast for the week. I know I'm forgetting more stuff. Do I need to prepay for photo pass now or when I get back? My husbands being weird about photo sharing. I know I'm forgetting something big, I just can't put my finger on it.

Just try to keep all your important stuff like your itinerary, conformation numbers, print outs, park maps, plane ticket info, etc in a folder and in your carry on bag for the plane. We do this all the time and it helps with the "where did I put that" panic! Ifyou are really organized(and that is not one of my strong points) you could make up a book in a binder and have everything lamenated: like park maps and itinerary. Other than that I would also make a grocery list if you plan on stopping quick before you get to the resort. This helped us with saving time in a store we were unfamiliar with. Have a great trip:)

I just added up how much I'm spending. I think I'm going to throw up! How does it add up so fast?:confused3

I go to the bank before I leave and get around 30 $1 bills. I keep them in a separate envelope, so when I need to get a tip, I don't have to sort through other bills in my wallet and possibly drop/lose other money. I usually don't use $30, but I like to be prepared just in case.

When you pack, pack a little bit of everyone's clothes in each suitcase (instead of 1 bag w/ all of your stuff, 1 bag w/ all dh stuff, etc.). That way if a bag gets lost or misplaced, that person will still have some clothes.

Money for tolls after you get to FL. I don't know how much, hopefully someone can pop in w/ that info. But I remember one of the tolls being exact change?

Quarters & pennies for pressed pennies. I keep ours in a mini M&M tube...stack 2 quarters, 1 penny; 2 quarters, 1 penny. etc.

Copies of insurance cards & "in case if emergency, please contact"...I make up a little notecard and keep it in my wallet by my i.d. and one in dd's w/ my doctor, my mom's phone, etc. If for some reason I'm unconscious, they will have the info. I know this is overplanning, but it is easy and takes up no space :)

If you have your park tickets already, copies of the backs of them.

Is this your first time? If so, don't forget to actually stop and have fun while you're running around trying to get in all of the fun  Sometimes people are so focused on getting from A to B they miss all the little neat things in between.

I would add that you need to remember any/all medication that your family takes or needs. My DD has severe food allergies so this is top of mind for us. Besides that, I also pack a mini first aid kit that includes band aids and neosporin, children's Tylenol etc. Adult pain or headache meds might be helpful too.

great tips! I like the $1's. I hate not having tip money! Do u think I need to pack beach towels? Lap top? I really hate getting there and spending money on something I have a ton of at home. Oh...Glow sticks from the $1 store. What else?

At disneyland we always have the best times when we are just sitting there. On one trip my kids got to play hide and go seek with Mary and Bert it was so special! Another time we were in the corner by Small World just resting and Alice and her friends played red rover, red rover with my kids and few others who joined in. Another time Prince Phillip saw my son (who is Autistic) readind a little book infront of the castle on a wall and came over and sat with him and put his hat on him and read him the book, honestly I have no clue how no one else noticed or interupted. That's why we stay 10 days so that there is no rush and we can have that special time. I guess we could cut it short and go to the beach or Universal but it isn't as magical.
