My cans of pork brains went to the homeless

A neighborhood kid set a bag to collect canned goods for the homeless. While I was out this weekend, my mom donated my cans of pork brains! I hope the homeless appreciate the generosity.

Oh my! I'm sure most people are very appreciative of food they get from food banks, but the people who get those may not be.

Out of curiosity, how old was that can? If there's anything worse than pork brains, it's pork brains laced with botulism.

Who knows? I had a can that was 2 years old. They must have been on the shelf a lot longer. I once bought a can with a lot of dust on it!

Okay I don't mean any disrespect and I can't help my initial reaction but in my mind I pictures some poor homeless man getting a hold of that can and I had to LOL! I really feel sorry for them and maybe the can will be intercepted before a real homeless person gets it but ROTFLOL.....what did your mother say when she realized she had given that to them?
