Just got back mid afternoon on December 17, 2012 after our Disney trip. We stayed at the BWI Innkeepers ( club level)for most of the time, two nights in the beginning as room only at the BWI club level. We had a great trip & time and was lucky enough to stay in the same room when our package kicked in on Dec 9th. We found the parks crowded. Fantasyland was nice but every time we went over to eat at "Be our Guest" for counter service it had a line which people started standing in line as soon as the park open :( Next time maybe. Little Mermaid we were able to get a fast pass & got to ride it mid day on Monday Dec 10th. It was fun but wished it was like 20,000 leagues under the sea. We went to the Christmas party on Dec 11th. It was also crowded & was raining a little. All in all it was a great trip. We also stayed Dec 10th & 11th at the WL in the honeymoon room. This was a gift from a friend who was there & we done many favors to him & his family over the years. His way of paying us back :goodvibes We was able to keep our BWI room as it the WL 's room was in his name.

My thoughts on the two resorts

The BWI Club level we love the BWI club level & always pick this resort due the closest to Epcot & DHS. Plus we like the rooms but especially the CM's and they know who they are :goodvibes We had a room facing the gardens & view was of France & was able to see the fireworks each night. We saw & talked to "BWI Fan 4 Ever" & his family which I met last December. It was nice talking to him & his family each night. Our room was clean & kept clean each day. No problems at all except for the buses which happened at the WL as well. No big deal.

The WL well let say we enjoyed the WL as we use to stay there before we found the BWI. The lobby was great as past trips. The Honeymoon room was on club level & the room was nice but I wouldn't stay in that room again. But not because of the noise but other reasons that I won't go into. We found most of the CM in difference & at times rude. I know some on here love the WL club level due to the CM's. But no matter how many times we said hi or any other greetings we received a odd look. Oh well no loss to us maybe they were having a bad day as we talked to several other guests that stay there all the times remark the same thing. After the first night we decided not to stay the second night & it was no problem for them to cancel the room only & credit the friend his money back who was staying on the floor as well. He said it was fine but he did treat us to lunch at Tokyo Dining later that week. So all was fine. The bus going to the MK was slow and the boat was out of service due to the fog. We were happy to be back at the BWI later that morning (Dec11th) And yes they kept our room as we told them ahead of time & told us no problem.

Would we stay at the WL again? Maybe as our DS & his family want to go in 2014 & want to stay at the WL as it is my son's favorite place. We would do a split stay at the BWI & WL. But that a long time away & things could change.

In all we enjoyed the BWI club level & will stay there in the future unless something comes up.

This is my views & I walked in my footsteps. So no flames please. I didn't knock the WL nor the BWI. But this time around the WL did not make us feel that feeling we use to get when we stayed there. One major complain is that they got rid most of the rooms with two queen beds to one queen bed & bunkbeds. One of the CM told us they were going make changes again to the rooms with beds. We can't do one queen bed. My DH prefer the room to have a king size (which the WL is going to start removing the King Size bed to two queens I was told that by the Club Level manager) or a room with two queen beds.

We did book two bounce backs for next year for the BWI. Note they did not have a flyer in the room had to call 8844. I finally got a CM at the BWI to find out the other dates so she was able to get me all the dates on a paper. Which helped.

Side note the pool at the BWI was great, really enjoyed the clown but each to there own.

I also had my birthday while I was down there & the CM's at the BWI got me a cake & balloons. :goodvibes

Really?!?!? That is awesome!! My DH and my DD both are having Birthdays near our trip and we are celebrating them. My DD is 4 days before our trip and my DH is 3 days after we get back.

Thanks for writing this report. :goodvibes

You are welcome. I hope you will have a great trip & birthdays while you are there :goodvibes

I think I got lucky with the cake as I been going to the BWI club level since 2007 two to three times a year. I have gotten to know the CMS very well so I think that had a play in me getting a cake but I really enjoyed it :littleangel:

It is very sweet of them to do that. I think my DD would be happy with a signed card. lol
