My boys are at DLR now!

My boys are at DLR now and I'm up here in Norcal and it's killing me! They went down with their school choir on Thursday. Got a text from one of them earlier saying they were there and looking for a place to eat.

I just couldn't leave work at this time of the year. I'm a preschool teacher and we have a lot to do before the end of the year. To add insult to injury, one of my little little students comes in this morning and says she's going to Disneyland this weekend! Her grandpa is my sons' music teacher so they are joining them down there. I just have to keep thinking about our week long trip in July!

BTW- I gave them "reminders" on how to act. Don't run, don't be obnoxious in line, don't save a spot in line for 15 friends...

I helped in DS class. I asked a few kids what they did on Spring Break. One says I went on a Disney Cruise. Apparently 2 other kids in the class did too. %15 of the class went on Disney cruises over a two week period. If I had known before hand we could of made it 20% and split a shuttle to the port.

I think that is mostly because you live on the west coast.

I live in the rockies, and it's pretty well divided if people here go to WDW or DLR. But for 3 kids to all go on the cruise, seperately, amazed me. I wish I had gone. 4 classmates could of had a blast together in the kid clubs.

My boys have all day today there. This will be fun for them to be there with friends this time. We just don't have room in the car or hotel room for them to bring a friend with them when we go.

Very Jealous! My stepmom took my three sisters last weekend while I went to prom. She took them for the whole weekend at "last min" It's happened 5 times now.

I am lucky enough my mom is taking me to WDW next week.

I sent a text asking them what they were doing, but haven't heard back. Guess they are too busy having fun.

So, DH and went to Sonoma today to pick up some Mexican food from a little place that is supposed to be really good (it was). We walked around the town square and went in to a thrift store. Lo and behold I found a Disney sign inside! One of those interstate 5 signs with the Mickey Mouse head on it. It was $2 and looked brand new so I bought it (the price tag on the back was $5 at DLR). I didn't get to DLR today but I got a souvenir!
