I have decided to share my best kept secret..... :goodvibes
Whenever you are spending the day at MK and it is time to leave as the park is closing....Stop in at Casey's Corner and grab a Hotdog and a coke and take a seat......Watch everyone going by to exit and let them all stand in the lines for the buses boats and monorails to get back to thier hotels. :moped:
THEN walk slowly out being the last people to leave the park...I have experienced alot of nice conversations with CM's in doing this as they are aware of what is going on and they like to spend some time talking with us. :grouphug:
Is there anyone else here that has done this???
Just curious.... :teeth:

Oh yes we book a meal at the last seating and often have been one of the last in the park. Pictures are so easy to take then too. I love it! :cool1:

You must be thinking of Tony's....
Thats the best thing...Casey's Corner is a counter serve restaurant.
You don't need to book it. :confused3
Just get in line and have a seat, Which by the way beats rushing out to stand in a line!!! :thumbsup2 :hourglass

Actually, I think the poster just meant that she books the last seating in a park restaurant so as to be one of the last ones out and get more time with the characters, etc.

If you go to a buffet or family style meal where non-alcoholic beverages are included, you can have more than one! I often order diet coke and lemonade. No extra charge!

You might think that reservations for single diners would be frowned upon, but in fact they are not, and reservations for 1 or 2 are often easier to get than for larger parties, even at the last moment.

I love grabbing a fresh ice cream cookie sandwich from the ice cream parlor and doing the same.

Yes usually we book LTT so we can walk all the way through and do pics. It just has a special touch when no one is around.

Hi, what would be the latest time you could book a meal, in regard to the time the park closes??? We have never stayed behind but have said we would like to try doing this on our trip later this year :)

We stayed behind on our last trip, not intentionally, but the call of nature got to one of the kids.

We had stayed near the castle for the kiss goodnight, then wandered around Main Street. The park was already pretty cleared out by now and one of the boys had to 'go'. Took him so long, I think we were literally the last people out of the park.

I was worried that we would miss the last bus, but was very pleased to have Main Street to ourselves.

You have to ask when the last seating is when you make the ADR. They change with the park hours. It really is something special to stay after the crowds are gone.

We always book Crystal Palace for first slot on a NON early entry day.
Have the park to ourselves for great morning shots.

Same for last ...we either book last available seating, or do like you ( I LOVE Caseys hot dogs) sit down, and enjoy my dog and fries till they practically sweep us out!!

A few years ago we were seated in the last seating at the castle. We were also the last group to leave the castle. When we left we saw no other guests on all of Main Street. All we had was a security guard who stayed a good distance from us while we walked out. It was very magical.

we sat at caseys for a hotdog and drink at the end of mnsshp and just watched the castle changing colours and letting everyone run out for their buses and we have a picture of us outside under the clock at it was 12.40 am :)
