He's 7 months. We thought he had exzema. I had it, and his sister had it when she was a baby. But his is just a bit much. It's on his feet (around his ankles), his back, his hair and the side of his elbows. It'll clear up for a little but then he'll start scratching like a mad man and bring it back out to the point where it gets all red and weepy. I breastfed at first, he stopped wanting it, then I put him on regular Good Start which is when the rashes and itching started, then the doctor put him on Soy Good Start but nothing changed. Then she put him on Nutramigen, nothing changed. She did a blood test on him and just called to say that it shows that he's allergic to eggs, wheat, milk, soy, corn, peanuts and sesame seeds. Now he has to go on some type of hypoallergenic formula, maybe Similac Alimentum? We gotta go to the allergist to see what types of foods CAN be introduced into his diet 'cause everything I already have consists of either SOY or WHEAT.
:sigh: My poor boo boo.
How good is the hypoallergenic formula? The doctor said it doesn't taste as good so there's a chance he might try to resist it. Hmmm...what can he eat? He's starting on finger foods now.
