She lost her 8 year battle with breast cancer at 12:27 pm today. She was 54. She went in her sleep, in her own home and was surrounded by friends and family.
She was loud, crazy, annoying, fun and had tons of friends who she loved taking on trips. One of the last things she said to me was "No more cruises." She loved cruises and had taken me on one a couple of years ago "just because". Before she got bad, she promised to take me on another one just as soon as she was better.
Over the last 7 months months she had been in so much pain. I'm just relieved that she won't ever have to be in pain again.
