Well, hello everyone! Did you think I stopped doing these?

We had a great trip and I've gone through and edited the 1200 pix I took. Now I'm in the process of updating my site. I know that Mission: Space is on everyone's mind lately, so I wanted to get those pages finished first to share with you.

We rode Mission: Space twice and really enjoyed it. I didn't find it to be as scary as I expected and didn't notice the spinning as long as I concentrated on the screen. Take-off is great!

We had a great time with some of the CMs while we waited for the preview to start. They're a great group of people.

There is a capsul outside so you can judge whether it will be too claustrophobic. We found there to be plenty of room and DH is 6'5".

The gravity wheel is awesome, I haven't seen any picture that does it justice.

During pre-flight you get to see the shuttle you'll be flying.

Great stuff...

I can't wait to ride it soon! Now, the height requirement is 44 inches right? .. I have a 46 incher in my household.

Wow!! the inside looks very cool. I can't wait to ride in...... 8 more days!!! Well actually 9 days is when we get there but in 8 days we leave for the very long journey!

Awesome, Laura!

Thanks so much for sharing these!!!

Spinning? Did you say spinning? Uh oh....... I don't spin well & I'm dying to go on this in a couple weeks....

Great Pix! Thanx for posting them!

And/or are there FastPasses for MS yet? I'll be there end of Sept. with my parents, and they won't ride, so I don't want them to have to wait while I go through a long line.

The fast pass machines are there and ready to be used when they officially open the ride. :)

Oh I can't wait to try this ride out. Your pictures are all so great and sharp.

FastPass and Single Rider lines are now operating... And get this - last night at 7 pm you could get FastPasses for 7:20 while the standby wait was 35 minutes...

We had a mini Dis "wish" meet there last Sunday...IT WAS AWESOME!!! The effects are great!! Hope you all enjoy it!!

It sure is Captain Dan.

The official opening of Mission: Space is October 15, but it has been open for a few weeks. When we were there the beginning of July, it was open from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm. :)

Man! The capsule sure is tiny... good thing I'm not claustraphobic.

Oops, yes I did mean August. :)

Please don't think I am picky by having pointed that out - I am just trying to prevent confusion, which happens rather quickly (as it did when the Sentinel published that PhilharMagic wouldn't open until December...)

We have been twice so far, Sun Jul 20th it was open when we arrived at 6pm, and Thurs Jul 24th it was also open when we arrived at about 1pm. Posted wait time was 1 hr, but actually was more like 15-20 mins. DW, DD 18 and DS 11 loved it and had no problems, I loved it but was really disoriented for a couple of hours afterwards. That won't stop me from riding it again this Thurs., after taking some meclazine or dramamine. It is an awesome, don't miss attraction. I am very clastraphobic and had no problems with the small space, just slight nausea from the spinning.

Great pictures, I can't wait to go on Mission Space! Thanks for posting the pictures. :D

Laura ~

Thanks again for more great pix.

I can't wait to ride this in October.
