If you enter World Showcase from Future World, Canada is the first country on your right.

You can't miss the beautiful Victoria Gardens...

Thank you so much for sharing your attraction posts with us each day. I think that back in the waterfall section of Canada is so relaxing and refreshing.

Every time we visit Canada I stop in the shop and buy a paper mache cat. I have a great collection now and each one reminds me of the great time I had.

I've also bought great Christmas gifts there. I think it's the best store in WS

As a Canadian ~ just want to say thanx for featuring "our" little part of the World Showcase...

Laura ~

Thanx for more wonderful pix.

Canada is one of my favourite countries in World Showcase.

Thanks, Laura, for doing this for us. I always enjoy your "attractions of the day".

I love the O Canada film, it's breathtaking in parts.

When I walked into the movie at Canada, I asked the CM if she is really from Canada and she said, yes she is. She was from Quebic.

I'm from Wisconsin, and I only know where Calgary and Vancouver are. My geography of Canada is really bad. She told me not to feel bad, she had no idea where Wisconsin was and I told her we should be part of Canada, it is always cold. She just laughed and said she loved Florida. So do I. Give me warm weather anyday.

Today, the middle of summer high of 69.

Every year, we never miss "O'Canada". The beauty of this movie inspired DH and I to take a trip to Quebec City. We stayed at the Chateau Frontenac, which is the castle-like hotel featured in the movie (the part with the winter carnival and the bobsled). Although we went in Sept! Actually, we were stranded there for 9/11... a memory I'll never forget. The French Canadians were wonderful to us, both before and after the tragedy.
Wish I could find the music to this movie on CD!

We now want to visit Montreal, Ottawa, Banff and Victoria.

Such a huge, beautiful country. (sigh)

Hi - just thought that quote was funny because alot of Americans have the impression that Canada is really cold all the time. Well - I'm here to dispel the myth! I'm from Ontario (just above New York state) and in the middle of summer, the temperature is usually 25 - 30 degrees Celcius. That's around 80 to 90 F but with humidity it gets over 100 alot of days. The sun is shining, the grass is green and it's beautiful. Definitely a country worth checking out with lots of history and friendly people and don't be scared off by the weather it's warmer than you think LOL. :D
