My Arm Is In Plaster Cast

Oh my. Last night I went to minor injury unit after slipping over the laminate flooring that I earlier cleaned. I hurt my wrist. I could not believe it. Throughout the day I could not move my wrist that much, I could not pick things up, I had no strength in it and I could not even do up my seat belt.

I had like 5 x rays and there was no fracture showing at the moment, but they feel that I have a possible fracture in my scaphoid which takes 10 days to show up once the swelling has gone down. So they had to plaster my arm to support the scaphoid.

I am now off work for 10 days. As if I was not on here enough It will be DVD's, disboards and all ears I think for the next 10 days

Wish me luck and I hope I wont be tearing the walls down before too long

Thank you for your kind words. I have just had a shower and I can tell you that was a task in itself. I had a plastic bag round my arm to stop it from getting wet.

Thank you. The boys are in nursery today and Casey is at school so I am on my own. Bruce said dont do any house work he will do it all. Its so tempting to start tidying, but my wrist is still aching and I have to have my arm in a sling as well what am I like.
