My Apologies ! Should know this.. MB & Offsite/DME

Morning all ! So, booked a last minute trip, and staying offsite (HBV) for first time in years--- wasnt sure how this would show on MDE, and how to handle the MB's--- so, I have my ADRs booked, and they show --- I know the hotel wont. Assuming that the tickets will show on MDE when I purchase?

My biggest concern/question was the Magic Bands--- Googled and said you have to purchase at Disney or Disneystore.com--- we have MBs that we just used in December. I should be able to use those, correct? Also said I had to physically link them. (I know I wont need them for the hotel, but will need them for the rides/attractions)

So, can I use them, and will they have to be linked, or are we ok once I purchase the tix?

If you purchase park tickets direct from DisneyWorld.com, you will be prompted to linked them to MDE during the purchase process. If you purchase them from anywhere else, you can manually link them to MDE.

You can reuse your MagicBands without needing to do anything. Once you have tickets linked to MDE, your existing MBs will work for park entry, etc.

If you have MBs from December linked in your MDE, and you have your park tickets linked in MDE, those MBs will absolutely work for you. If you purchase any LL attractions, the MB will work to scan you in there, too. The MBs are linked to your MDE account, not any particular reservation or dates. As long as you're seeing your tickets in MDE, you don't need new MBs.

Is HBV one of the HIltons in Disney Springs? If so, you can link it to MDE by using your Hilton confirmation # and then it will show in your plans.

The last time I used my "old" magic bands, I just went into my profile on MDE and made sure the numbers showed as active "My Magic Bands and Cards". I also deactivated any other ones that happened to be on the list. You just have to scroll down and you will see the list.

Has it been more than 72 hours since you made the reservation? I'm staying at Hilton Signia in March and it actually took a little longer than that until MDE accepted it. Also, if you booked through a third party, make sure you're using the Hilton reservation #. If you link the stay with your Honors # on the Hilton account, you'll be able to see it

Was about to add the hotel conf as a "note", and now showing up in MDE--- thanks !! If I go to the Link Hotel reservation tab, wont let me link--- online chat said would only link disney hotel conf #'s-- the note worked fine
