stand to have some more decent restaurants, or overhauls on the ones they already have.

We'll be there from 12/15 in the evening until 12/22 in the evening. We have 7 days of DDP.

On our first day, I figure we'll eat CS at the Pepper Market, where we are staying, since we won't get in until 7pm or so.

12/16:
Breakfast at Main St Bakery to stick with tradition.
* looking for MK lunch suggestions - CS *
Dinner at Kona Cafe

12/17:
Princess Breakfast Akershus
Lunch at Tangierine Cafe
* looking for dinner suggestions - TS * (we will be doing MVMCP that night)

12/18:
Breakfast at CSR
* looking for MK lunch suggestions - CS *
Dinner at Tutto Italia

12/19:
Quick breakfast at either CSR or AK
* looking for AK lunch suggestions - CS *
Dinner at Boma

12/20:
Quick breakfast at CSR or DHS
* looking for DHS lunch suggestions - CS *
* looking for dinner suggestions outside of DHS - TS (two credit TS ok)

12/21: Would like to go to MK, but worried it'll be sold out if we don't go early, but I don't want to stay all day and night. I want to stay for Wishes, though. Its our last night there.
Quick breakfast
*looking for lunch suggestions - CS *
Have ADRs for Tony's Town Tavern for Dinner, but may change.

12/22: Departure Day
Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare *unhappy bday party for DD6*

We have 7 total TS credits. Those restaurants are in bold.

Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? Thanks so much. I'm starting to run out of ideas.

I really wanted Sanaa, but they're sold out when I want them. MK and DHS leave a lot to be desired, but I hate to leave the park to eat. Although, I may consider leaving DHS to boat over to Epcot to eat before coming back for Fantasmic.

I agree! I'm going to book The Plaza for our lunch at MK, and I'm leaning toward Mama Melrose for HS....not because the menu looks that great, but it looks better than the counter service.

i have two character breakfasts lined up and i'm wondering if i should keep both.

the last day at park fare is a must. my daughter loves mary poppins.

i wish epcot had more breakfast options.

For CS in MK, I would suggest Columbia Harbor House. I expected it to be good due to the raves it receives on these boards, and it exceeded my expectations. We will be making a return trip there this January.

For CS in DHS, I would suggest hopping to Epcot. :) That's what we did last year. We ate at Sunshine Seasons (which is my 2nd favorite in Epcot, next to Tangierine Cafe, which I see you've already got covered), and it was delicious.

For TS outside of DHS, I would whole-heartedly suggest Flying Fish. It's our one must-do for every trip since we first tried it. It's a 2 TS, and it's nice, but the decor is kind of whimsical so it's good for dinner with children. Actually, the dining room is stunning and the food almost always exceeds our expectations. If you wanted to go more casual, I would suggest Beaches & Cream ...

For CS in AK, I don't know - that one stumps me too. We have only tried Flame Tree and it's just ok.....

For TS in Epcot, I would just check to see what's available. I suspect the more popular restaurants are booked .... I have gotten same day reservations for San Angel and Rose & Crown and we really enjoyed both (although we expected nada, so take that for what it's worth). Rose & Crown + fireworks time = GREAT.

P.S. With a child, I don't think 2 character meals are too much.

So many suggestions are possible here. Too many to list here. For example, you wrote:

MK lunch suggestion
Dinner at Tutto Italia

Since you appear to have a split day planned, with the first half at the Magic Kingdom, and the second half at Epcot, I'd suggest the following:

At whatever time you wish to switch from the Magic Kingdom to Epcot, take the monorail to one of the monorail resorts (Contemporary, Polynesian or Grand Floridian) and make an ADR for the restaurant of your choice. (I would recommend the Contemporary Resort's The Wave for this meal.) moving on to Epcot via monorail after lunch.

I think DHS has a great choice of restaurants. MK and AK stink. Glad MK is getting more.

I pretty much agree with this person, although we don't have too much trouble in MK, either. We have a hard time limiting our DHS TS meals to just one or two, in fact. And, DH and I don't even eat red meat, so you would think our options would be even more limited.

Magic Kingdom CS: Columbia Harbour House for sure. I don't think we ate CS anywhere else this trip.

Animal Kingdom CS: Picnic in the Park completely wowed us, but honestly I think all 4 are good bets, it just depends what you're in the mood for (picnic, burgers, pizza, or bbq). Breakfast at Pizzafari was pretty good, too.

Epcot TS: Akershus and Tangierene Cafe would have been my two picks, but honestly I'm not sure there's a TS there I wouldn't eat at, so it depends what you're in the mood for and what you like. I've seen particularly good reviews lately of just about everywhere. It's a shame Garden Grill stopped serving breakfast, or I'd recommend breakfast there and moving Akershus to dinner.

Studios: Frankly I wouldn't touch their CS dinner options with a 10' pole. I guess if you manage to eat good stuff the rest of your vacation, you might be able to find a decent fast-food burger or pizza there; but other than breakfast, I only eat TS there.

Thanks so much! Great info!

Has anyone tried the Plaza on Main Street?

We also added Earl of Sandwich for our first night after arriving. It's my way of getting to DTD to shop, and the DH loves him a good sammy! 2 birds: one stone. ;)

I am thinking about doing the Picnic at AK just for something different. We'll just have to see how the weather is that day.

The day we're going from MK to Epcot: We'll be staying at MK until around 3-4pm. Then heading back to our hotel to rest up for the evening. I think I will probably do a CS at Columbia Harbour House now with the great reviews in this thread. Our ADRs are until 7:40 that evening, and EMH goes until 12:30am.

I haven't been to Mama Melrose or 50s PrimeTime (or Brown Derby, but they're booked).

I've been to Sci Fi twice.

I like Mama Melrose's menu, but we're doing Tony's and Tutto, and I don't want a third day of Italian, really. I'll probably go with 50s PT.

And I may just get a turkey leg for lunch that day! LOL
