I logged to My Disney Experience, exactly at the 60 day window for a May trip. Online dining would only let me book for the first day of the trip (which was a "closed day" for both signature restaurants that I wanted). Since we are DVC members, I called Member Services who confirmed that I should have been able to book dining for my entire trip, but since I was using Safari as my browser, there is a "glitch" which prevents you from doing that. Disney is "aware" of the problem, which they say only started when they switched to the 60 day window. She said to use Google Chrome or open a private browser window in Safari to avoid this problem. Really?? Why do I end up feeling like an old, tech challenged dummy for each trip I book?
The DVC rep was able to get me California Grille and Flying Fish for the trip. But between signature dining unavailability on certain week days and browser glitches, there is little joy for me in booking Disney dining. Back when my kids were young, I remember waking early, before work, to snag Cinderella's Royal table on the first day of availability. There was a certain "thrill to the hunt" but there is no thrill now.
