Has been cancelled. This is the e-mail I received:

You have a reservation at Bistro de Paris In Epcot, unfortunately it will not be open for your seating due to renovations. I will be switching your seating downstairs to Chefs de France with everything remaining the same; time and party size. If I can be of assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Thank you and we do apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you.

Kind regards,

That was very nice of them, and they gave me plenty of notice. I think it is going to be closed for a time this summer, (My ADR was for Fri. 8/10).

Just a heads up for anyone who wanted to eat there around that time! ;)

That was also very nice of you to pass the info along to all of us and to have such a good attitude about the whole thing! :thumbsup2 Hope you have a great trip despite the change. :goodvibes

I heard about the closure. Some of my friends were wondering if they'll re-open in time for the Food and Wine Festival, because Bistro hosted a really popular French Regional Lunch event during the festival.

I'm hoping this isn't just another step in the dumbing down of perhaps the best restaurant in Epcot.

Thanks! I think I would just as soon eat at Chefs De France. A little less expensive, and I'm with my daughter. Hopefully Bistro will be open for a future trip when I can have a romantic dinner with my DH.

Thanks for posting the info. I have an ADR for October 2nd, which hasn't been cancelled yet (and hopefully won't be - I'm really looking forward to trying it!).

Yes, hope it works out for you! I must admit, I was a little disappointed. :sad1:

More reason to come back next year!
