My $9.99 Shirt

This week Target has Merona women's shirts on sale for $9.99. Normally, I shy away from "cheap" stuff as it is just a disaster for me, but this one I got was so cute. It has fuschia stripes with darker plum stripes. I wore it today to work (with my cheap Wal-Mart khaki skirt-$15.99). I just love long khaki skirts for work and the ONLY place that had them this year was Wal-Mart. Everywhere else had these flouncy short things--even Ann Taylor.

Anyway, I've gotten so many complements today (and it's only 10:00 a.m.). I just wonder how this thing's going to wash...

I know what you mean. Sometimes those shirts hold up, sometimes they don't. I hope yours does--sounds really nice.

I found a lovely dress last week at Macy's. It is a formal dress and I paid $13.78!!!!! Every year when we vacation in the US, I make sure I go to Macy's and I have found the most wonderful, extremely discounted dresses. Macy's is my favourite department store.
