2nd day alone for me. This day I was letter O on our rotation. This was also my first day doing Sue!!! I totalllllly messed the first Sue up in front of one of my coordinators. She told me it was not a huge deal and said it was great I was able to pick back up where I left off. I was soooo mad I had messed it up bc I am a perfectionist at something I had known for over a month but oh well. I did the 2nd one fine and the ones since then I was fine as well.

That night Elyse Meg Jenny and I went to DHS to play after work (Meg and Jenny were off). We ate dinner at Pizza Planet. Our goal that night was to ride the big ones: ToT and RnR. We rode Star Tours first and made our way to the other side. We stood in the stand-by line for RnR. It said 45 mins which was pretty true except for the fact that people kept cutting in front ofus to get to family memebers. I really think WDW needs to crack down on that a bit more. That ALWAYS seems to happen on that ride every time!!!

After that we went on TOT and used a FP from earlier. After that we rode it 7x in one hour (during fantasmic) We made friends with the bellhops of course and actually got to ride the "last ride of the nigh" with one of them!!!

That was a magical night for us!

I saw you that day! You were carrying some animal in a box and looked pretty in a pretty deep conversation with who ever you were with!!

After work, Katie, Meg and I went to TGIFridays for dinner and Coldstone for ice cream after that. That night we had a hot tub party and just relaxed

We went to TGI's for dinner that night!!!! Spooky!

So I finally finished reading this thread so far..... and I <3 it!

I posted once on ur CP trip report and didn't come on here for a while, but I saw u started another one... (i think we're friends on facebook too haha and i think i'm "friends" with ur roomie Erin as well (tho we dont talk)....i dunno may not be the same girl) I basically wanna do exactly like you've done.... do a CP and eventually a PI... it sounds like ur having such a great time and i just wanted to let u know i'm sooo jealous of u right now lol... hopefully I'll be doing CP in the spring... i want to do BBB as well

Anyways i hope things work out with the whole roommate stuff (that can get really old really fast i know how u feel) and i'm def subscribing to ur thread

Hey Megan, I have just got caught up after being off for a few weeks! I just love your updates. They are so detailed I feel like I am there wtih you.

Congrats on doing so well with all of your scripts etc... It sounds like an interesting and fun job. I hope you are enjoying it.

I know it is a bit early, but what are you options come early next year when your PI is over? Can you do another PI or is there another type of program you can apply for?

Anything new from either PC???

Megan, I just read your entire trip report. I wish that I were still in college and able to do a Disney program. Unfortunately I was in such a rush to get into the work world at 22...little did I know work would always be there. Anyway, thank you so much for sharing your experiences.

DH and I are leaving tomorrow night for a week at Boardwalk. We are so excited for our trip. Of course I've planned ADRs like crazy, planned which days I'm dragging him to rope drop, and when we be able to just lounge by the pool. He thinks I'm crazy. He says normal people don't put Relax from 2-4 on a schedule. I tell him he's never read the Disboards.

Again thanks so much for writing your trip report. I think you've inspired me to write one about our trip.

Hey Megan, sorry to hear about all the roommate and townhouse drama, just what you don't need right now. but glad to hear work is going okay. and i am so jealous of all the fun times you are having when off work.

oh and what about trying an ADR at the boardwalk somewhere- flying fish, ESPN or spoodles or the brewery? I've eaten at all and they are all great, then maybe do ice cream afterwards at beaches and cream?

HI DIS!!!

I just wanted to let all of you know that I'm still around and VERY busy I have been so busy with work and going out at nights to the parks and PI before it closes I find myself trying to be in bed by 11 or midnite bc of work the next day.

Amanda comes Thurs night and it is needed!! I have been having some "boy drama" recently so I need a good bff who "really knows me" to vent to and recall the past!!

I'll try and update tomorrow. I have grand plans to clean, make dinner, and do laundry!!!

Hi Readers!!

I appologize for being soooo lazy and busy and not having the chance to write. I'm not going to write in full detail of my past month but I'll try and go story at a time.

First of all the job:

Like it, not love it, and I'm glad it is only for 6 months. I love the KDCs (kids discovery clubs) but could give away the animal positions in a heartbeat. To me, I'd rather be at a KDC than talking about the same animal for 1.5 hr. Between BBB and this, I'd take BBB in a second. It was the same "stories" but depending on the age of the princess and hair style, you made it your own. This role is sooooo much repetition, it's starting to drive some crazy and to the point where they are thinking of leaving not even 2 months into the role I of course would never leave bc of the fact that I want to remain in the area afterwards and that would look horrible

I had a meeting with the head of animal programs and was pretty much told in a matter of 10 mins: I can't extend till May (which now I wouldn't want to anyways), I can't get management roles bc I worked at BBB and not an actual merchandise shop, I can't apply for another PI bc of my CP, and there are no full-time education roles open now. So pretty much in 10 mins I was told my future with WDW would be based on full-time running a ride for 4 years to get my feet "wet" or going seasonal and teaching. Well of course I'll pick teaching bc I did not waste 4.5 years of school to jump into WDW. It has been a rough month lol.

Elyse my CP bff is moving in by the 18th of Aug (when we pay rent). We will have 5 in our house. Some are concerned about parking. I guess our one neighbor was upset we were using his driveway when he did not have renters and complained about us parking there We still don't have cable and prolly won't ever have it. They "claim" we can get a dish but it cant be on the building so ya?? We had issues with the mail not getting to us or being sorted so we each paid 20 bucks into a box at the UPS store in Celebration. Needless to say we're not happy campers at this point and can't wait to leave in Jan.

Fun news. I have been eating on property like crazy. Good and bad of course bc good I'm experieincing new things and bad bc I'm losing money lol. We have now eaten at England, Japan, Morocco, Germany (tmw), Norway, and Mexico in the countries!!!! We are making huge dents in that. Not sure if we'll make it to Canada or not?! We have also been going crazy with parks after work. I try to be in bed by midnight to get at least 7hrs of sleep and it works very well!!

Amandas visit last week was very fun and I was sad to see her leave We stayed 3 nights at POP with a $20 cast dining plan discount and 50% off the room (don't hate!)

We ended up shopping and RFC on Thurs, Fri: BB, WCC dinner, and PI, Sat: TL, Kona dinner, and went to a country bar in Orlando, Sun: All 4 parks, LTT dinner, and MK EMH pm/Epcot EMH am. We were super busy the whole time. I slept in yesterday and can't wait till my next "weekend" lol.

Family is doing well. I told you I had some news about the fam. I won't go into major details but they might be in the process of moving bc of dad job changes. I'm starting to feel "left out" but I think if it comes down to it, my managers will work out a long weekend for me to fly home to help. I won't give specifics now bc I'm not sure of the current status. My mom is planning on coming the 4-8 of Sept and we're staying at POP. The fam is coming Dec 11-16 and I'm thinking about flying home for dad's 50th bday the end of Oct. if I can get ppl to switch.


Well that is it for now. Oh ya. My comptuer got a nasty backdoor virus and erased everything of mine thankfully not dis!!!! My fb has been erased and deactivate so PM me for my new email and links.
