So this is my first time posting on here, yet I have been snooping around this board for a few weeks now. I just planned our first DL vacation with our 6 kids...leaving the 2yr old twins at home because Im nervous of taking them. The others are 13-4 yrs and hope they will all have a great time. We will be flying on Oct 3. Hope to play at the ocean that day and start our 3 day DL experience the next few days. I do have a Character breakfast set up. Any extra advice would be great. DH hasnt ever been to DL either so its going to be a blast. TIA

Me too! I thought I remembered a PYP post about Disneyland and leaving your twins behind. Anyway, our trip is in about a month and I have found so much helpful information here. There's lots of people around here that can help you do Disney the penny pincher way. I don't know much about the Del Sol so hopefully someone else can chime in on that. I think the best advice I can give is to be at rope drop and become familiar with the fast pass system. If you have 3 day hoppers take advantage of your magic morning and don't be afraid to hop between the 2 parks every day. Have fun planning! That's almost as fun as the trip.

Rope drop=park opening. Most 3 day or longer PH passes will get you one magic morning entrance during your stay. (there are a few exceptions so check to be sure) Very nice for the littles that want to go on fantasy land rides. Here's a link to which rides are open during MM. Magic morning rides HTHs

LOL! PYP is short for Pinching Your Pennies. It's an awesome site (free!) for finding great deals on anything you can imagine. We also chat about everything from diapers to Disneyland. It's actually where I first heard about the DISboards. It's based out of UT but there are people from all over the country on there. Sorry OP for going completely .
