Hi everyone! I've been lurking around the boards for a month or so, and I'm just fascinated by all the great info I've collected! I didn't even know about ADRs before I came on the DIS, and now I have 3
My cast of characters:
Me
a little OCD about planning, big Tink fan, planning this whole trip as a surprise for my DD.
DD
9 yrs old, big Hannah Montana fan, loves anything pink and girly
D?H
kinda hopes I don't drive myself nuts planning, been to Disney twice, usually just wings it but is being wonderful about calling for ADRs, mapping out our days, etc.
So, we are going to be staying at POFQ 4/30-5/6 DDP, arriving around 1PM the first day, and leaving around 4:00PM for the airport on the 6th. We have park hoppers for 6 days. I have 3 ADRs - 4/30 Coral Reef @ 7:00, 5/1 Crystal Palace lunch @ 11:40, and Chef Mickey's dinner @ 7:50 5/5
Disney veterans, I need guidance. I bought a subscription to Touring Plans but don't know where I should go and when. I also know I can't do it all at once, and am already brainstorming the next trip. I didn't even want to go to Disney at first, was doing it just for DD, but it's totally won me over.
Tentative schedule follows:
Day 1 - Arrrival, Epcot afternoon, Coral Reef Dinner, ??
Day 2 - Magic Kingdom, Crystal Palace 11:40, ??
Day 3 - Animal Kingdom - I think I may be most excited about this!
Day 4 - Resort/Rest day, possible DTD
Day 5 - Disney Studios/DTD if not done already
Day 6 - 2nd Magic Kingdom day? Dinner AADR 7:05 Chef Mickey's
Day 7 - Departure Day
Probably just do some swimming, maybe check out DTD or Mk again. We have a late flight home, and won't board ME until about 4PM.
So, hi again, and sorry for the long post, but I'm so excited about this trip! I've never planned a big family vacation like this and, btw, I've never been on a plane! DD has, and loved it.
