My 1st Target online Disney card purchase

So I just bit the bullet and tried it....I ordered my first $50 Disney gift card from Target online with my new Target red debit card. After 4 $5 gift cards I only paid $27.50 for a $50 card. And I couponed my way to earning those $5 cards so I feel very happy!!! Not ready to jump on the bandwagon and pay for my whole trip with them, but we do use them for spending money so I'm extremely happy with my little bit of savings!!!

That's great! I'm glad to hear about your success. I just ordered a Target debit card today. Buying online is my only practical option since we live so far from an actual store.

They had special deals that you can earn a $5 gift card. For example Buy 4 Suave Professionals shampoo or conditioner and receive a $5 gift card.....I bought 4 of them at $1.99 each, and I had 2 coupons for $1.10 off 2....so I used both of those, and got the $5 gift card.....the other deals were on printer ink, which I never have enough of.....they had mine on sale the twin pack for $26.99 and you got a $5 gift card back....the other 2 deals were for dove clinical deodorant which I had coupons for, and the other was on degree deodorant which I also had coupons for. I used all 4 of the gift cards towards my Disney gift card, and it took my 5% off before the gift cards. Score!!! I'm also pretty far from a local store (45 minutes) so I'll mainly be using mine for online shopping. However in the next couple of weeks I'll be in the store because I have to drive that far for back-to-school shopping.

Those sound like great savings. Where do you find the offers? I generally don't even look at the Target coupons that come in the Sunday paper because we live so far away. I might have to start reading them closer.

I get her Facebook updates. I'll definitely check out the blog closer. I did use a Brita coupon she had and saved 50% on a water bottle.

The $5 gift card offers are in-store offers. You can print coupons online. I use swagbucks and print through them. for each coupon you use you get 10 swagbucks. I just cashed in with them for a $100 Target GC.

I never even *thought* to check if they sold them online...I've been driving 1/2hr to the closest store & feeling silly with stacks of 20 cards. I'm paid all of our last 2 trips this way - So glad I crawled out from under my rock, this is awesome info, lol!!

We are going to do our first and only trip to Disneyland this fall. I have been trying to figure out how we can save money. We are staying off site. I guess I could buy the Disney gift cards from Target using my red card and then buy Disney park tickets with the gift cards which would save me five percent. That should work, right?

Yes, if you are buying your tix directly from Disney. You can also use the GCs for in park purchases and dining
