Wow, its been a while since I updated. Ive been SO busy with my thesis stuff and yesterday I scheduled Rileys surgery to have her plate taken out of her leg that she broke last May. Thankfully my tax refund came back and Im getting about $685, so I can use that to cover her surgery (which will be between $500 and $600). Unfortunately that money wont be going into our Disney fund this year. At least I know the Marcettes trip is still over a year away and Dbf and I are pretty quick about saving money up when we want something, but we will be buying a house this year
Anyway, without any other delay.
When we last left off, we had just eaten at Beaches and Cream for lunch, toured the Beach Club and Boardwalk and walked through the Wyland gallery. Now, it was starting to get close to 2pm and we wanted to head back into Epcot. As we were leaving, we took one last picture of the scenery as we entered WS.
First stop? Test track! We had already rode the single rider line a few times, but I had some fast passes burning a hole in my pocket!
My grandfather is a former GM employee, so I have to take pictures of the ride vehicle each year. He still loves all that stuff. I have a necklace that I really love where back in the 80s (he made one for my mom, my aunt, me and my cousin) where most things werent supervised and he took all the old leftover paint chips (you know how sand art is? How is starts with one color and you can make that color really thin and you just keep layering the different colors?) and made them into a heart shape and then polished it down. So awesome and one of my favs. Anyway, we took a picture of the vehicle and then a traditional self picture while on the ride.
Now I was having a bad hair day as it was, the least Dbf could have done was tell me that my hair was sticking out from underneath. Men
so I apologize in advance for the messy hair.
Next, we headed over to the Land.
Dbf wanted to try out Soarin this year, but I chickened out again and there werent any fastpasses left. I told him that I would go do something else or wait for him, but the wait time was 50 minutes and he said it was ok, wed get it next time. I know he was disappointed, but we still had a lot of things we wanted to do. So, we headed in the other direction.
Last year we had watched the Lion King show but decided to skip it and go straight for Living with the Land. Dbf had to say hello to Pumbaa first though, the Lion King is his ultimate favorite!
