MVMCP Which day Question

Ok, we're planning to go Dec. 10-16. That's Sunday night through Saturday Morning. It's the second full week of December. What day would you pick to do MVMCP? I know dates aren't out, but what days of the week are typically the best? I want to make an ADR for LTT that night. I've been to MVMCP, but that was BD. (Before Dis!) Now I'm a planner and I study every thing over and over. lol.

It is said that Tuesday and Thursday nights are the best. There aren't usually as many locals that go during the week. We have always gone on Thursday nights and it hasn't been too bad. Also, hit the second parade as most people do the first one.

We went that time this past Dec and went to MVMCP on a Tues night. It was great....not crowded at all. After reading so many posts on how crowded the party is, I thought I made a mistake......but I did not - the crowd was not big at all. That week is also perfect as the Holiday recesses have not started yet. As we were checking out on the 16th there were triple the amount of people checking in. It is a great time to go, we will most likely be there again that time too! Try making it a Mon-Fri trip and you will really avoid the crowds everywhere, that's what we did and was great.

Hey there! We're going to be in WDW at the same time as you this year. We're arriving on December 10th and staying for 7-10 days (DH and I are staying a little longer than the rest of our group). On my preliminary itinerary I've set aside Thursday night for the VMCP.

I'm debating over the LTT reservations (it looks like the prices for the character meals have really increased in the last couple of years!).

Absolutely not the last night it is offered!!!! We waited looonngggg waits for everything, oh and it was in a Friday, too.

We'll never go on any other night! Low crowds for all three years (01, 03, 04).

It really will fall perfectly for your trip, too, given your arrival and departure days. However, even if it didn't, I'd still recommend Tuesday.

We went Dec. 2004 on a thursday and it was packed. Not worth the money in our opinion.

Ok, I was thinking: We'll go into MK a little on Sunday when we arrive. (Driving from Savannah, GA. ) Then we'll do MVMCP on Tuesday! I don't think I could wait until Thursday, and the kids would be more tired on Thursday. Thanks!
