Our options are to attend MVMCP on DEC 14,16,18, or 19. What should I expect for crowds. Is there a better day to go? Is it a good thing to attend the day you arrive(traveling w/7 and 9 year old)? Thanks for the input....

I wouldn't plan it for the day you arrive, especially if you are flying. If you get delayed, you could have a problem. Plus your kids may be tired, may not want to stay up late.

Sundays & Tuesdays are less crowded.

Definitely go in the middle of the week! It is less crowded because kids are in school. There really isn't a problem though because no matter when you go it will be less crowded than the normal park entry. It is wonderful! I have been 3 times and we are going again on Dec 9th! It snows on main street, and many other surprises!

We are driving down from the Daytona area. We will be visiting family before we arrive at our real vacation. We chose to check into Pop Century and do MVMCP on our first night. We also chose to do MVMCP on 12/19/03.

We are doing LTT before the 12/14/03 MVMCP and Chef Mickey's before the 12/19/03 date. I can't wait! Mickey

On going on weeknight it has been our experience that crowds are not has big. We've been to 22 MVMCP and on 12/9 we will be going to our 23rd,can't wait.:wizard: :goodvibes :wave2: ::yes::

OK I think we narrowed our date to MVMCP to the 18th or 19th. Are the crowds going to be significantly bigger on the 19th? If they are can you still see most of the attractions? THanks...

From what I've read on the boards about Friday nights and lots of locals-I would avoid the 19th at all costs! Usually Friday nights sell out and this will be the last party of the season.

We are going the 18th and yes it is our arrival day. I'm being brave. We did this last year for MNSSHP and my kids did fine staying for the late parade.

I know that they have a cap on park attendance, but the only crowds I've seen for the 2 parties we've been to have been on Main St with people staking their spot for the parade. You do want to be on Main St for the parade. It was so great to be snowed on wearing shorts!

We'll be going to MVMCP on the 18th, which is the day after our arrival day. Our plan right now is to visit the MK in the morning, go back to our room at the CR and rest for a bit before we head back to have dinner at LTT before the party.

We've never been before, but it sounds fantastic, and we're all really looking forward to it.
