MVMCP vs DAH wait times

I posted this in another thread but haven't gotten any responses. Was hoping anyone who has been to both can compare wait times. My family attended two sold out DAH events this year and had a great time, got a lot done. The last one we went to sdmt had 45 minute wait the whole time. I have never gone to a christmas part at wdw, am interested in the last 3 ones which will probably be the busiest. Wondering what those wait times are like, I imagine longer than DAH, but how much?

It really depends on the ride. Rides like 7DMT never really shake a line at MVMCP or DAH.

Generally speaking, the ticket count at MVMCP is MUCH higher than DAH, although there is more to do so crowds are sort of all over the place.

The last MVMCP we attended never had a wait of less than 30 minutes for 7DMT. It was in early December. Now that being said, they seem to post a wait time longer than what it actually is during the parties from what I've seen.

Thanks for replies...really appreciate it! So is something like a wait time of 75 minutes the whole time on sdmt likely to happen during a party? (Which happened to use with TOT one DAH night!) Or is it usually better? Drops down sometimes to 30-45 minutes?

It is really hard to say with any precision, but I would generally expect 30-45 min posted waits during DAH, and 30-60 min posted waits during MVMCP (maybe higher than this earlier in the event and close to Christmas).

My experience has been that posted waits are usually inflated by 10-15 mins during these events. The good thing - with no FPs the line does continuously move so it ‘feels’ better to some extent.

The last 30 mins of either event will yield your best results, in my experience.

I would say you will are likely to see more along the lines of 30-45 minutes, however, I've never been to a party that close to Christmas. We have always attended the first week of December. I hope someone who has attended one of the last parties will jump in and have a clearer answer for you.
