Has anybody every gone to the party twice in one trip?

Has anybody ever wished that they had planned on two nights? Or can you see everything in just one night?

just working on my itinerary...

This is my first time to MVMCP and I am going twice (Dec 9 & 11). I only planned on go on the 11th, but then my cousin and his family decided to meet us down for a long weekend, so we added the extra party to our plans.

I figured I would have twice as much fun during my trip now!!!

If your concern is getting in everything unique to the Christmas Party, you can definitely do it in one night. It's a great event and I wouldn't miss it, but there aren't but a handful of things different from a "normal" December night at MK (parade, a show or two, cookies, hot cocoa is all that comes to mind).

Now, if money were no object and I had the opportunity to go twice, I would not hesitate. But, for what they charge, once per holiday trip will have to do us.

We did MVMCP twice last year, but it wasn't planned that way. We had tickets ahead of time for the Tues night party, and had a great time. We were leaving to go home on Friday (if I remember correctly). So Thursday, our last park day, we were at Animal Kingdom, and you know that feeling you get (or at least I get) when you know it is your last day and you're sad that you're going home the next day, well I had that feeling, multiplied by 100!!!! I mentioned to DH that I wish we could do MVMCP once more before we left for home, never expecting him to agree, and he was all for it!!! (Gotta love when you convert your DH into a Disney lover!!) So we bought tickets for that night's party right at the AK, went back to the hotel and rested, and left for the party about 5pm. I have to tell you, it was the best doing the party twice!! We really got to take our time (not that you feel rushed at MVMCP) and take it all in. I took lots of pictures of the decorations and characters dressed up in the holiday gear. We concentrated on only our favorite lands/rides. And it was the perfect way to end a perfect trip to Disney World.
So, my vote is, YES, do it twice!!!!!!!:santa: :santa:

I went last year and had so much fun, we're going twice this year.

Sure it's expensive on top of the admission but since we're already spending thousands, another $50 for another MVMCP is almost nothing.

MK on a cool MVMCP night, hot chocolate and friends. Tough to beat!

We went to our first MVMCP last year and LOVED it! If we were down there at Christmas again, I'd go twice in the same trip. Yes, it is expensive, and many would say it's not "worth" it, but Christmas is our absolutly favorite time of year, so for us, it is worth it.

Yup. Went twice on one tripo back in 2002. Haven't been since though. Maybe we'll stop in this year

On our trip last year, we were there from Friday the 8th through Saturday the 16th. We had bought tickets for MVMCP for Tuesday the 12th. When Friday the 15th rolled around, we REALLY, REALLY wished we'd bought them for that day as well, even though we knew it would be much more crowded. Unfortunately, they were of course sold out long before that day.

I don't know if that's just because it was our last full day, or because it was our first time, or something else, but we sure wanted tickets that Friday!

So we're going twice on our upcoming trip....

We went last year. Prebought one night. We went and had a blast, DS2 freaked when he saw Santa and decided we had to go back an second night. We will be back this year with multiple MVMCP.:santa:

I say go for it! We're planning on doing the same thing on our first trip during Christmas time next year. We went to 2 MNSSHP last year and were able to do so much and take our time. We can't wait to attend our first MVMCP. :santa: Have a magical time!:wizard:

Thanks everyone!

I decided to go ahead and buy tickets to the first night we are there (ordered them today! WooHoo!) and then I left the second night open in case we decide we want to go again. I am going to have to take my chances that they won't sell out the second night but it's a Sunday so I'm pretty hopeful.

I've learned after Pirate and Princess and MNSSHP I need two nights to do everything. One night for Shows, Fireworks, Parade and a 2nd night for Characters.

We always go to the parties twice. Once is for the parades, shows, characters, etc, and the second time is for the rides and anything we might've missed the first time.

Two is a pretty good plan if you can afford it, but you could definitely get it all into one night if you tried.

We do the same thing - concentrate on the special events one night and rides the next. I'm Christmas obsessed (with a very patient husband) so we have to do it twice.... Have a fabulous time!

I so wish we would have done it twice last year! We went and had a great time, but we missed the show (the night before Christmas I think it was) because we just got mixed up and missed it. I wanted to go again, but the event was sold out for the other night we could go. I have done MNSSHP twice, don't know why I didn't think of doing MVMCP the same way. If you can afford it, go for it, I doubt you'll regret it!

We did it twice last year--it was nice knowing the 1st nite that we didn't have to fret about seeing everything because we were going again---if it's in your budget go for it:santa:

we went once in 2005... when my husband found out how much it cost on top of our ap's he about flipped:rolleyes1
this year we are going to Disney from Dec 14-21 and we are going to MVMCP the 18th and the 20th:santa: yep, twice:santa: :santa: and he is the one that booked it this year:lmao: he liked it so much last time we are going twice:rolleyes1 go figure:lmao:
