Are the standard options for transportation available during MVMCP? Our current schedule has us eating dinner at Fultons prior to MVMCP. Would it be best to head to MK straight from there or should we head back to the wilderness lodge and catch the boat? Or maybe even change to eating at the lodge and heading over from there.

The usual transportation is running. Even though the official opening time is 8:00pm, they opened the gates at 7:20pm the past 2 years. So I would advise getting there early to make the most of it.

we were at contemp last year for 4 mvmcp's and most of the crowd was in there waiting to go back to mk. they piled in the resturants, food court, bars, and lobby & store area's, so I would think the mk resorts is where most people wait for the park to reopen. The monorail was running and they had parked the extra monorail,( ttc to mk) one to run directly to mk at about 7pm, we left and stopped at mk and waited there in line. It was PACKED! I would definately stay in mk area! unless you don't care about getting in early or on time! Also I would definatly have my dinner ressies early for your resort! And do fulton's some other night. mky:) ;)

Last year when we went to MVMCP we had PS at Kona's Cafe. We took a bus from our resort to the MK, got off and got on the Monorail.

WHile at the Poly during the wait for our table we got to see the last of the regular day's fireworks from the huge windows by O'Hanas. Sat down, had a light dinner with, of course, desserts and then hopped on the monorail to the MK. THey were just starting to open the gates and in we walked with all the "snow" falling around.

Give this a try. It was so fun and festive riding the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom.

Have fun.

Thanks for all the advice. As a result of all your experiences we have decided to move Fultons to another day and eat in the MK resort area instead. I am so glad I asked, I have a feeling we would have been very disappointed with the original plans.

Thanks again for all the help
