i know it is early, but i am trying to get plans in place for our trip prior to school starting in august.

DD (8) and I will be attending party 12/19. Meet and Greets aren't super important but can be done in place of some of the rides in fantasyland and liberty square if DD is interested.

we will have one additional day at MK (RD til around 1, 'Ohanna dinner at 7pm) but would love to get some of the early morning must dos out of the way since we won't have a FP runner

plan on arriving at MK around 4:00

FP Peter Pan on way to ETWB

ETWD 4:30-5:30

fantasy land rides from 5:30-6:30 (barnstormer, tea party, dumbo, etc)

line up for Belle and Beast meet and greet @ 6:30

head to stage show at castle @7:30 for 7:45 show

peter pan w/FP

carrousel

haunted mansion

head over to main street for fireworks @9:05 - fireworks @9:30

astro orbiter

buzz

back to main street for parade @ 10:30

back to resort

Are you leaving right after the last parade? If so, there will be a pretty big line with you because a lot of families with smaller children will be heading out at that time. Have you thought about going into Town Square Theater (or wherever the princesses and their princes will be)? The last time we were there for the Christmas party, we saw Snow White and her prince, Sleeping Beauty and Prince Phillip and Rapunzel and Flynn. I would try to stay until at least 11:30; that way, everyone who was leaving right after the second parade should be gone and you'll beat out the hard core people.

Also, this is the only time that all 7 dwarves make photo appearances to guests. I would really consider doing this one if you can find the time.

A couple things:

Belle and Beast did not have a M&G at least year's Christmas parties, so I would not count on them being around.

FP is not in use during the party, you will have to use your PP FP before 7.

Other than that, the rides you listed will be fine to do during the party. A lot of people go to the parties for the party specific activities and the special meet and greets, so ride lines tend to be on the shorter side.

I agree with Julie, there will be a lot of people leaving after the parade. I would stick around for a little bit to enjoy the atmosphere and let the lines die down a little.

if belle and beast aren't there would we be able to sub in cinderella and the step sistersm the dwarfs aren't a big draw for us and seeing them in the parade will be enough? probably will add princesses or santa on the way out after the parade. I don't want to overwhelm my daughter nor do i want to do a ton of walking back and forth. i figure we will grab a snack to eat either in line for ETWB or the first character meet and greet.

That would be two different greets. Cinderella will be in Town Square Theater with Prince Charming, Rapunzel and Flynn, and Snow and her Prince. Because the Princes are rare, and Flynn is a huge draw, the Princess line will be long all night. I would line up for that early.

Lady Tremain and the stepsisters greet elsewhere, that line shouldn't be too bad.
