MVMCP - to do or not to do?

There are two of these parties during our trip - 12/21 & 22. I had not planned on doing it - we are a party of 6 which will include two dgp's.

Are we missing out? Are the parades/fireworks/shows different than those that we can see at other times during our trip? We don't go home until 12/27 & are planning on MK for Christmas Day.

Yes the parades and fireworks are different.

Being worth it is all depending on you personally.

If you love the Christmas season (some do some dont care either way), and you love just the atmosphere of Christmas then you'll like it. It's just really really nice in my opinion.

The park is also open to you until midnight instead of 7:00 that night.

I can't go into it too much since there are so many othere threads on it but, if you like the season then you'll most likely enjoy it.

I too was questioning it. We will be there 12/6-12/12. There will be me, (43) my Dsis (33) and my two DN (5) and (18mos). I figure they have never been, we are there... we will be sorry if we don't do it. We are going to the 12/11 party, which is our last night there... as a final send off. I have been to both the xmas party and halloween... I just know I would be sorry to be so close.. and not go.

I say go for it if you can afford! I'm doing MVMCP for my first time this year. I can't wait. I've heard a lot of good things about it. You'll never know if it was worth it to you unless you experience yourself, right? If you end up not enjoying it, you'll know that you don't want to do it again. Have fun on your trip!

Yeah do it if you can afford it. I'm going on 21 Dec.

I believe the parade may be the same as the one you'll see on Xmas Day though...not sure. You'll also see Twas the Night Before Xmas......it all looks fab though. I really can't wait!
