MVMCP tix...not pretty!

Don't you think the tickets (cards) for the MVMCP should be "Christmasy" or at least say MVMCP 2005? I was a bit disappointed; one is AK and the other "Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt Show!" Not much presentation as this is a gift...looks more like an ad! Not one to put in the scrapbook...

Is your ticket made of hard plastic? I thought they were all characters for MVMCP. I agree that I thought they would have a Christmas theme. I got Goofy and Donald.

Yes, plastic like a credit card. Look like standard issue on the front "Happiest Celebration on Earth" with the AK or the MGM ride . Printed on the back is MVMCP Ages 10+. No biggie, I just imagined something more commemorative, perhaps they ran out that day if such a thing existed.

Every party I've ever been to, the tickets are hard plastic with a character on them and nothing to do with MVMCP or MNSSHP.

Mine for the last 2 years and this year are the hard plastic with a character on them.

Mine are hard plastic credit card type also with the characters. Why would they put AK and Lights Motorcar show on them? They arent even in the MK where the party takes place? Strange..

It's just general WDW Ticket stock.

The ticket stock is actually pretty expensive, so unless you want to pay extra to go to the special ticketed events ( to cover the ticket media cost ) - then it looks like you are stuck with the normal WDW ticket stock.

Got 2 Donalds and 2 Minnie's this year. Have gotten Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy in past years.

I thought the same thing!! I was waiting a Christmas design, but hey I like Goofy, Mickey, Minnie and Donald too.

I ordered one set last month for the party on the 13th and they have Minnie and Mickeys on them.

The set I ordered two weeks for the party on the 9th and they have Lights Motor Action, and Cinderellabration stuff on them.

I guess they ran out of characters....not very Christmas-y, but HEY they'll get me in so I'm a happy camper!!!

Sounds to me like the OP purchased or will called the MVMCP tickets while at WDW. Those ordered by phone or online and sent to their homes get the plastic with the characters. Those who buy or pick up will call MVMCP tickets at WDW get the regular ticket stock.

Another factor is where your ticket order was filled. Most Ticket Services ones (WTS on your prefix) will use the plastic but most of the others won't.

Funny I have never seen anyone other than the Mickey, Minnie, Goofy or Donald cards, they probably added the other ones for the 50th anniversary.

Nope, ordered mine over the phone last week, got them delivered to my house yesterday, and they are the hard plastic with Cinderellabration, Lights, Motor, Action, and Animal Kingdom on them.
