I know-what a stupid question to ask here! :rotfl2: But here's my situation.

DH, DD (6),DS (4) and I drive from North Georgia to South Florida every year before Christmas to spend a few days with DH's family. I have talked DH into stopping in Orlando on our way down just to go to MVMCP and then continuing on 2 hours to Stuart, FLorida. We just were at Disney in October, so I'm okay with just spending a couple of hours there and we've never been to the party before, so I am excited to see it. And since we aren't staying in a hotel or eating on property, the tickets will be all we have to buy. I think it will be fun to just surprise the kids and appear to decide on a whim to go to Magic Kingdom for the night!

But I have some questions. I want to buy the tickets in advance to save the $20, but if the weather is bad or something I don't want to waste the time and money, how far in advance do you have to buy them? Do you have to give them enough time to mail the tickets to you or can you pick them up at MK when you get there?

Also, is it really worth it? And how crowded are the parties usually? We don't have to go, it's just a last minute thing so I don't want to spend 5 hours waiting in lines, you know? We would go to the party on Thursday, December 15. And are stroller rentals free for the party? I thought I read here that they were free for the Halloween party, is it the same for this one? Thanks for your help!! Jennifer

Yes, yes, Yes! You should go!!! It's is so worth it and what a perfect way for you to get a dose of Disney! As far as how far out, I know I have heard it sells out quickly so I wouldn't wait too long. Lastly, we usually go in early December so I'm not sure of later crowds but the rides have been walk ons and if not, the waits have been minimal. The first parade gets pretty crowded but other than that, it's wonderul and we usually accomplish more in that one night than in a full day waiting in lines.

Good Luck! :flower:

I've bought my tickets on the same day of the party. It depends on what day you are planning to be there, some days sell out.

I hope you get to go, the kids will love it.
