After reading several threads on the boards about the time to enter the park during the party, I have a question! (i know..surprise suprise! LOL) Since we do not have anyone younger than 9 in our group, the crowds thin out later would you be able to enter the MK around 8 or so and that way we can make it to closing? We do have MK planned for another day in our trip so we are going more to say we went than to ride all the rides etc. BTW we are going to the 12/20 party.

Any advice would be great!

We just took a 2 hour nap that afternoon and had dinner at CP at 5:30pm. Finished and hit the party starting at 7pm or so. The kids made it until about 11:30 (after the 2nd parade). I wouldn't wait until 8pm if you want to do the Twas the Night Before Christmas show or the show at the Castle. You won't have time to do rides and the other stuff if you wait until later. And it may be more crowded that night. We went on 12/1. Have fun! It's great!

We did the 12/1 show too and we have 3 teens. They started about noon and met us at crystal palace for our dinner at 4 pm. We were focused on seeing all the shows so we really didnt do any of the rides. Between the photo, waiting for the hot chocolate, getting a little shopping in etc. They stayed till the end, dh and I stayed till about 11:30. We did see the parade twice, wishes, the night before christmas show, the castle show, and something in fantasyland etc. You get the picture, just so much to do and only so much time. I guess you could pick and choose what is high on your list etc. Good luck.
