I went to the MVMCP in 2009. Love going to Disney and Love Christmas but didn't enjoy MVMCP like we did MNSSHP. It did rain most of the evening of the Christmas party but we did see the main events. Thinking about trying it again! Did I miss something first time around?

I looked over the description and it doesn't appear that much has changed. Events listed:

  • Cinderella Castle: Lite the castle seemed to be the same as any other night during Christmas.
  • Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade: Same as day parade - just dark!
  • Holiday Wishes: Maybe a little different??? I don't remember.
  • Live Entertainment: The character shows I saw were the same as any other nights.
  • Meet and Greet: Anything different?
  • Delicious Treats: Complimentary cookies and hot cocoa. Yes different.
  • A Magical Snowfall: See snow falling on Main Street, U.S.A. - Same as any night during this time!
As I said, we love going to Disney and we always have a great time, Christmas party or not. I just wanted to know if there are any events, treats, etc that are actually different from any other night during the holiday season?

We won't actually KNOW of any changes (if any) until the first party takes place and the party MAPS are released.
I don't expect any major changes, but you never know until for parties begin.

The parade is only shown during the party until after the last party is held. So if you want to see the parade and won't be there late enough in the season, you won't get to see it without a party ticket.

Same with Holiday Wishes. If you are there during party season, you can only see it at the party.

Thanks, I didn't realize that about the parade & Wishes. Been there a few times late Dec and saw the similarities. Also been there Nov and early Dec but I guess I wasn't paying attention to which parade / wishes was demonstrated.
