MVMCP Question?

We will be at Disney Dec. 16-21 - would you pay for the MVMCP on the Thursday night or would you wait until it's free on Saturday Dec. 20?

That is a tough call. We did that last year not knowing it was free. There is more ambiance at night which ads to the atmosphere but if I could have saved $400 on party tickets this year I would have but we are leaving before it is free. I would decide soon though. it is likely that party will sell out.

I just checked and it is not sold out on Dec. 18 but it is on Dec. 19.

I'm assuming you are talking just about the parade. There are other benefits to the party like a limited number of people in the park. I bet that Saturday will be crowded.

However, I would probably save the money.

Light crowds is definitely an advantage. Are there any other special perks on the "paid" days?

There are characters you can only meet at the party (Jack Skellington, 7 Dwarves, Princes, Scrooge McDuck, etc.) and snow on Main Street. None of those things will be available without a party ticket.

We will be there at exactly the same time! Going to party on the 18th. Never been to MVMCP before and can't wait!!

I would go and ride attractions with no waits and then do parade, etc on regular days.

There are also special fireworks at the party.

I forgot to mention the free hot chocolate and cookies. Not a big plus, but we liked them.
