I know this is probably not the right place for this but I figured someone may have an answer. Here goes:

We will be at FW camping for a week or so in December. We were tossing the idea around about getting tickets to MVMCP and taking the kids to it. We are know thinking about getting the seasonal passes for florida residents. My question is If we get the seasonal passes can we still get into the MVMCP? Lets say we go early to the MK can we stay and take part in MVMCP or will they kick everyone out without tickets for MVMCP?

Those that have tickets for MVMCP will be issued a wrist band. There will be CMs everywhere after regular closing looking for those wristbands. If you don't have a wristband, you will be escorted to the entrance.

Oooh, I know this one :)

We go to MVMCP every year. You will need a party ticket. The cast members check for party bracelets constantly. I've found that you can linger during EMH and are only checked for the rides and attractions. At both MVMCP and MNSSHP we were checked before we were allowed into the restaurants and even the stores!

As PPs noted, you must have a separate party ticket to stay past party start time - regardless of if you have any kind of AP or SP. CMs are very vigilant about checking for wristbands. They even have stations setup in the walkways. Once 7pm hits you won't be allowed to do anything without them - including shop, eat, even use the rest room! We've also seen CMs walking along Main St checking people waiting for the parade.

Thanks for the replies. With all that being said, Is there any major difference during the MVMCP besides the parade that we would miss out on if we left before it started.

With AP's you do get a little discount on MVMCP as well as the MNNSHP. The girls loved the MNNSHP years ago and we're going to do the MVMCP in December this year. We've heard the parade is worth the price of the ticket. We're Christmas Freaks, so I'm sure it will be awesome!

Parade, special holiday fireworks (although you could always view them from the Poly, FW beach or Contemp), free cookies and hot chocolate, some dance parties and lots of characters out in their holiday attire.

More info and pics HERE :santa:

Oh and I almost forgot... SNOW falling on Main St. :)

MVMCP is something, IMO, you should do at least one time. The parade is totally different from any other parades, and they have other special shows you can only see if you attend the party. It's well worth the price to go one time. If your children are younger, you might want to spend the afternoon chilling at the Fort and taking naps before you head in for MVMCP so everyone is refreshed and not cranky. If you decide to go, I really hope you enjoy it. This old fart with no kids does! :thumbsup2
