We are doing this on 12/8. Can't wait! How early do you need to line up on Main Street prior? We want to get good seats for the little ones (awe who am I kidding, I want a good seat too!) Is one hour before good?

Prior to the PARADE?

First parade:
60-90 minutes before start-time (and remember, it will take approx. 25 minutes for the head
of the parade to REACH Main Street, as it starts at the far end of Frontierland.)

Second parade:
20-40 minutes before start-time (and it also starts at the far end of Frontierland.)

BTW, I know that the word "seats" can mean a lot of things, but there are no actual
"seats" for the parade viewing on Main Street (unless you count the curb.)

We went the same week you are going last year and went to two separate parties that week. If you are thinking the first parade, an hour might not be good enough sadly. Last year we saw people getting their spots before the park even officially closed to non party guests. I am not sure how bad it actually got though since we made a point to be as for away from the 1st parade crowds as we could get. An hour is about right if you want to see the 2nd parade. We walked up 30 minutes before the 2nd parade and got a spot on main street about 3 people back both times which was fine for two adults.

We went this past Thursday. We saw Holiday Wishes at 9:30pm by the castle and as soon as they were done, we chose a spot on Main Street. Probably just a few minutes before 10pm.

Heehee...yes I know there are no "seats"...meant "spots". Although the curb becomes a nice seat when you have tired feet. ☺

We were also there this past Thursday, and I agree with the other recommendations if you want a spot on Main Street. We watched right in front of the Hall of Presidents and got there about 20-30 minutes before the start of the first parade.

I'll be at the party on Dec 1. It's our first time, and our plan is to watch Holiday Wishes, and then find a place to watch the 2nd parade. Any good suggestions on where to watch wishes from?
