We have a PS at Cindy's on November 30th at 4:30pm, before the MVMCP.

The question is, has anyone eaten at Cindy's on a MVMCP night and can you see the 6pm fireworks from inside the restaurant?

Also I have heard that the WISHES fireworks will not be showing during any MVMCP night, actually no firworks at 6pm during those nights, is this true?

The MVMCP party will have a fireworks show, does anyone know if this will be WISHES?

The Wishes at 6:00p that night could be happening or could be an error. It's rare that they have closing fireworks on party nights but it's possible. No one knows for sure.

Normally at the MVMCP the fireworks are special 'holiday' fireworks but on the WDW website it states that Wishes will be shown at all MVMCPs this year!

I guess we'll just have to wait and find out if it's true!

The 6:00 Wishes on MVMCP nights is no longer showing on the Disney website, so no Wishes during regular park hours.

As for the MVMCP fireworks it looks like Wishes may be part of it...............but I hope that isn't all they have. Actually, when they have the "special" holiday fireworks I believe the "special" part is added at the end of the regular fireworks. Last year I remember watching the fireworks during MVMCP. The usual show ended...................and people clapped and started walking away. Of course we knew to sit tight.................and then the magical holiday fireworks with the incredible shells that surround the park started. It really is cool and I hope that is what they will be doing this year. So yes........Wishes will be part of it, but if they keep with tradition we are in for another treat.

DisneyKidds, I am with you all the way! boy do I hope they keep the holiday part of the fireworks, all those red and green fireworks around the park are awesome!!!!!!! :)

Laura :)

9 days til WDW!!!! YIPPPEEEEE!!!!!!!! single digits at last! :)

last year before mvmcp, we were eating dinner in the castle and we did see the fireworks from the inside. they dimmed the lights inside the resturaunt for the fireworks. it was great, however, i dont know if they always do this on the party dates. :)

I just got the DVC Members Clubhouse email tonight and it also has a description of MVMCP and here's what it said about the fireworks:

The festivities take place from 7:00 pm to midnight and include a special holiday twist to Wishes™, our all-new nighttime fireworks spectacular (viewable throughout the Magic Kingdom)

Just thought I'd pass this info along!

hmm, didnt get my clubhouse dvc e-mail... anyway, cool, that is great news, souinds like it'll be wishes with the "Holiday" finale!!! yay! :)
gotta have those green & red fireworks!! :)

I just received this message staight from Disney.

We are delighted that you and your family are planning to visit our "World"!
While we sincerely appreciate your interest, the Wishes nighttime spectacular
fireworks show will not be presented on the nights that Mickey's Very Merry
Christmas Party takes place. MVMCP has it's own, special for the occasion,
perimeter fireworks show.

Well, we'll just have to see which CM is right. You got your info direct from a Disney CM through email and IMHO so did I. I've read in 2 separate places now that the fireworks at MVMCP will be Wishes with a holiday twist. I read it right on the Disney website under the description of MVMCP and also in my DVC newsletter which I quoted in my above post.

We all know that you can ask 5 different CMs the same question and get 5 different answers.:teeth:

Those of us who are going to the 1st couple of parties will have to report back...I'm going Dec 2 and if my DH brings his computer, I can maybe report back right after or I'll report back Dec 7 when I get home, but I'm sure someone else will beat me to it!::yes::

This debate is similar to those who are sure we won't get in to MK before 7:00p with just our MVMCP ticket because a CM told them so and others who are sure that we will be able to get in after 4:00p with just our MVMCP ticket because of firsthand experience at MNSSHP!

Time will tell! I don't care either way really; I just enjoy giving out any info I have on Disney!;)

Random MVMCP/fireworks question I thought I'd tack onto this thread... ;)

Right now, we're scheduled to go on a fireworks cruise. However, we heard you can't hear the special stuff as well on the cruise, so we wanted to go to one showing of Wishes during the week. I had that planned for our first night, but DH is complaining about dinner being scheduled for 8 p.m. that night. (whiner) Anyway, would you just go to the holiday Wishes at MVMCP (in addition to the cruise) or would you see Wishes, MVMCP Wishes and the cruise?

Well, we'll just have to see which CM is right.
I'm sure you are both right. By adding the special holiday perimeter fireworks they change the show and it really isn't Wishes any more................it becomes it's own special show. So, the Wishes that everyone has seen really won't be shown.....it will be an expanded version. The perimeter fireworks have always been an add on to Fantasy In The Sky and I see no reason why they would retool Wishes. I believe they will just add to it............like they have always done.

Well, you know, I have my wonderings about the same thing. We will see Wishes at MVMCP twice. We will also be on a fireworks cruise, with you I think :p and I have heard the view from the water is wonderful. I don't know how much you get to hear our there though. Maybe someone will be able to give us a better idea?!?!? Maggie

:teeth: Why, I do believe I will be on a cruise with you! Hopefully... We should get dates on Monday. Anyway - I've read that the view is great but you can't hear as well. So I think we're gonna watch the holiday Wishes on Tuesday night, and the cruise Wishes on Saturday.

Wishes was shown at our MVMCP on Dec 2.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a very good view so we gave up and got our photo done instead.

I saw Wishes last night, we stood at the railing between Main Street & Crystal Palace, great view! I think you really need to be in front of the castle to get a view of everything. Inside Cinderella's you are going to miss alot. A friend saw it from Fantasyland last week and said she could not see alot of the special effects.
