MVMCP on Dec. 3

Hi!
My family and I are planning a last minute trip to MVMCP for Dec. 3. Is this still a busy time? Almost all of the Disney hotels are booked. Is this projected to be a busy party date? Should I wait for the Dec. 10 party? Just looking for some insight and opinions.

The party on the same Thursday sold out a day before last year. The following Thursday party sold out a day or two in advance last year as well.

We're going to the party on the 3rd. Weather forecast looks super rainy right now. Fingers crossed it changes!

Sold out, I think I can handle. Rain...not so much! I check the weather forecast daily (and it changes daily, lol)

We will be at that party too and I am expecting major crowds. I hope I'm wrong, but I expected an empty Halloween party this year and just ended up disappointed (and also wet since it was sold out AND rainy) so I'm going for realistic expectations on Thursday!!!
