MVMCP Normal Dates?

Hi all! I just booked our first ever Christmas time WDW vacation for next year from 12/17 - 12/23 and was really looking forward to going to a MVMCP and I just got me Mickey Monitor in and noticed that the MVMCP dates only go until 12/17 this year? I had assumed the parties would go until Christmas like the Halloween one does. If we are arriving on the 17th next year are we going to miss all the MVMCPs?

The MVMCP's have always been held during the first half of December. I would expect the last party next year would be Dec. 16th.

I think after the 16th of December or so, they move all the special events held during MVMCP to the regular park operating hours. I don't believe you'll miss anything.

So are you saying it is going to snow on main street on days that there is not a party?

Do you think I should try and change my reservation to arrive a day earlier to go to the party?

I don't think it snows on Main Street during regular hours, that is a MVMCP exclusive.

Usually the dates come out in late April. Maybe book the night of the 16th and see what happens. Do you buy airfare early?
