Can anyone tell me when the last night of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party usually is? We are planning on arriving Dec 18 & was hoping we might catch the last one--We've never done this but read some good things about it on these boards! Anybody know? Thanks!

Dates for 2004 haven't been set - probably will come out in summer.

The last one in '03 was on the 19th. We just have to wait and see, we're arriving on the 19th this year and are hoping we can make one again!

In 2003 they went on sale April 28.

The last MVMCP is usually the last Fri or Sun in the last week before Christmas.

There's a chance you may hit one on Dec 19 but you just can't count on it and you'll have to wait till the dates come out April/May!

Here's some pixie dust being sent your way!!!!:wizard:

I think you have a real good chance if the dates in 2003 were typical. MVMCP started the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday from then on. So it looks like you'd probably even have a choice of 2, maybe 3.

Love MVMCP looking forward to going this year.Hope Osborne Lights are back this year.::yes:: :wave2: :hyper: ::MickeyMo

we're also going to be at wdw nov 28-dec 4..we're going to see the holiday decorations, and MVMCP..I've heard rumors that the holidays are starting to get more popular...anyone heard that things are more popular and crowded around this time now?

Our family has been going in Dec. for years. We used to arrive the week before Christmas when our kids were still at home. We would head to WDW just as soon as the kids started their Christmas break from school. It has always been our favorite time to be at WDW! We have many fond family memories. We would always leave for home on Christmas Day. The crowds generally would be low until Christmas Eve.

Now that the kids are grown we take two trips. DH & I go for a week by ourselves. We generally will go either the week after Thanksgiving or the week after that. It depends on our annual passes. This has been a wonderful time to go but I do believe it is becoming more and more popular. That being said, our second trip is with our kids and other extended family over the long MLK weekend. This weekend seemed to busier to me than our week in early Dec. There again, we had no problems with waits.

DISNEYMOMX5,

We will be arriving the 18th also! It does seem kind of weird planning Christmas activities in Jan, but I like to plan ahead also! We are hoping to catch a MVMCP,too. Let's keep our fingers crossed. We went in 2001 and loved walking down main street with the "snow" falling on us while we were wearing shorts. The parade and the fireworks are great. Christmas is beautiful at WDW! Have a great trip!!::MickeyMo

I am so glad I'm not the only one!! (Well, I sort of knew anyway b/c of these boards--lots of Disneyaholics out there!!;) )

It's funny--We have our trips planned through Spring Break of 2005! Part of it is b/c we joined DVC & I like to make the ressies at the 11 month window! It's definitely fun to plan our trips, especially when we've been snowed/iced in for three days in Ohio!

Our next trip should be quite memorable in early June--My oldest DD is marching down Main Street USA w/ her dance team!! We are so excited! Happy planning to you--We'll hope for that opportunity to see MVMCP! Regardless, Christmas time is so neat--we were there right after Christmas, 2002 & got to enjoy everything but MVMCP. Fingers are crossed!

We are also arriving on Dec 18th. I hope to catch MVMCP as well. Let's keep our fingers crossed. As soon as anyone finds out about when the tickets go on sale, please let me know- and I will do the same. :D
