MVMCP - MK and crowds?

Does the day of MVMCP make MK more crowded during the day or less? My TA said don't make reservations there that day, but I've read many places that the day crowds are lower until later as people begin to arrive for the party.

Any insight on this?

If you are there Thanksgiving week or Jersey Week then MK is going to be busy regardless. I know when we have gone and we aren't going to the VMXP we have deliberately gone to MK in the daytime as we know we won't get there that evening. There are probably at least 2 or 3 VMXP per week so I'm sure guests on WDW don't go all 2 or 3 times, they tend to go in the daytime instead. Hope this helps.

The crowds are much, much lower at MK on party days. Your TA is completely wrong.

Our experience at both the Christmas and Halloween parties is that the crowds are lower, especially as the afternoon moves on. With party-goers allowed to enter the MK at 4:00, other guests know their time is limited and seem to either start leaving or not come to MK at all that day. We've been able to knock out a bunch of rides in that 4:00 to 7:00 timeframe without need for FastPass.

That's what I thought! Makes a lot more sense. We will be there one of the less busy weeks of November - the week before Thanksgiving. Now I can start planning my meals! Thanks everyone!
