Thinking of going in November next year around Veterans day so that we can attend the MVMCP. Does it really have a Christmas atmosphere or is November too early for it? How is the weather - my kids like to swim?
Any reviews from 2006 MVMCP in November will be appreciated.

We went on the 17th. It was warm enough on the 15th to swim, but turned colder. By the Christmas party, we were all bundled up with gloves, coats, etc. We had a good time, but it was our 1st one. I don't know how to compare it to the ones in Dec., but I was in the Christmas mood, then to come back home and wait 6 weeks until Christmas is kind of hard. I'm ready to go back to WDW!

We went for the first time to MVMCP on November 27th. It was very decorated and really got us in the mood for Christmas! The weather was shorts and sweatshirt in the morning and about that at night, some nights were cooler and we did jeans and a long sleeve shirt and were fine. We stayed at POR and the main pool was like bath water and we had a great time swimming of course right when you got out of the pool you were freezing! :) I think it's a great time of year to go!

We've been twice the week of Vet's Day (2003 & 2005). Both times were mostly sunny (only one rainy day) with temps in the 70's and 80's. Most days were fine for swimming during the day, but it did get a little (but not a lot) cool at night. We watched the forcast and went to Typhoon Lagoon on the best day of both trips (sunny and mid-80's).

Keep in mind we are from Maine.

This year the weather couldn't have been nicer from Tuesday, 11/28 until Sunday 12/3, it was in the low 80's during the day, and on the night we went to MVMCP on 12/30, it was a comfortable 68. But the week before we arrived it was in the low 60's during the day, and in the mid 40's at night, so you never know.
I was glad we attended MVMCP the night before they started shooting the televised Christmas Parade, because they took down the garland and wreaths strung across Main Street to accommodate the cameras, and they look so pretty at night, I think I would have missed them.

We went this yr on 11/27 and it had just started to warm back up from the previous week - i wore a sweatshirt and jeans, and had wished i wore a tshirt - seemed kinda humid to me, but MUCH nicer than the previous week - When we were at the MK and it was in the low 50's and VERY cool - it was still better than new england though, and we laughed at all the "natives" wearing hats and gloves..LOL
It definately didn't hinder the Christmas mood to have it warm, it was very fun.. and although we will miss it in 2007 (we are going for Thanksgiving week, and they don't have it that week) We are planning on it for the weekend after TG for 2008.. This was the first time i have gone to it, and i thought it was pretty cool.
